Stayed Dec 31, 1969We booked this trip for a weekend getaway and the location was not only perfect but it was also very nice and welcoming. We came to Phoenix to go see the Mercury and the entire stay was comfortable and relaxing. The decor was very nice and the pool was the cherry on top. The only con we had was that the beds were hard but we expected it per other reviews. First night was ok but after the second any day longer would have been hard to sleep on them. The couches on the other hand were very comfortable. Overall the stay was a 9/10. We will definitely be back again.

Stayed Oct 4, 2023This is a lovely home, but we had 2 major problems. The first is the beds. They are so hard. The entire mattress is memory foam, with no soft mattress cover. The pillows are also very hard. I ended up rolling up a t-shirt to sleep on! We had 4 miserable nights. If you enjoy an incredibly firm mattress, this is the place for you! If you want a hotel quality pillow-top soft mattress, you should look elsewhere. #2 is with the property description which says Step-free access. This is just not true. While the house is one level once you're inside, there IS a short step up into the home and one onto the patio. I almost did a total face-plant fall into the house when first arriving! I didn't expect any step, and just didn't see it. We are in our mid 60's, and these steps were definitely a tripping issue for us. This needs to be noted in the description for older people to be aware. The pool was unusable for us because we could not safely get in or out of it. The photos did show no hand rails, but it appeared there were gradual small steps into the pool. This is not the case. The first step into the pool is very deep with nothing to hang on to. The pool looked clean and beautiful. Lastly, the host does not have access to messages on the VRBO website. This caused communication issues & should be addressed. Overall...this is a very clean home in a safe and quiet neighborhood. It would have been perfect with comfortable beds and pool accessibility. Phoenix was fun & friendly!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed two nights with our family in this home. The home was beautiful and well appointed! Pool was lovely, though unfortunately we never ended up getting to use it. The backyard is really nicely done, and we loved the lights and the patio furniture! Even an outdoor TV, if you are there on a night when it is cool enough to hang out outdoors! The pool table was the best part, particularly as we were there in the midst of a particularly nasty heatwave (I was born and raised in Phoenix, so well-familiar with the summer desert heat, but timing of coming in July was unavoidable with other travel plans). We left with some fun memories of my 11-yr-old being taught to play pool by her father and grandparents. The beds are a bit firm, with memory foam, but were very comfortable for us. I was very impressed with the homeowners, who were kind, responsive, and extremely helpful. The home is very conveniently located near the Desert Ridge shopping center and its restaurants, and most importantly, the Musical Instrument Museum! I have been to many museums all over the U.S., Europe, and New Zealand, and this is among the very best and most interesting of any museum I have ever visited - a must not miss when in Phoenix! Strongly recommend this home if you are visiting Phoenix (though strongly recommend against visiting Phoenix in July or August if you can at all avoid it! ?). This lovely home will be our Go-to when visiting Phoenix.
