Relax Lakefront-Stunning Lake Views in Popular Sister Lakes! Private Sand Beach!

Very nice stay at this lake front home! Plenty of room for our large group. The kitchen had all the needed items to cook meals and had nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Roomy bunk room for the kids and nice downstairs with pool table! Great stay!

The communication with the host was good. We communicated through text message. Good weather for kayaking and fishing on the lake. Quiet neighborhood, not much going on the lake. Very relaxing, great view from the balcony. House is good size for a group of ten, close to the other lakes for boating by motor and other water sports.

We had a fantastic stay. We are three couples, and there was plenty of room. The house had everything we needed to make our time there comfortable. The host was friendly and responded immediately to our questions. I would definitely recommend this vrbo.

We had a great time! The house was just as described. It has the best appointed kitchen I've ever seen in a VRBO. If you need it to cook or entertain, this house has it.

The house was awesome! Very clean & comfortable.....sandy beach was great! We had 4 older couples & there was plenty of room....everyone really enjoyed it!! Had a blast! Would definitely plan another trip there.

This rental was perfect for 2 families (8 people). The 4 kids loved the bunk beds (could have fit another kid or two in there), and the adults had ample space to spread out in the other bedrooms upstairs. The lake was perfect for a day swimming and boating around. The fact that there are no motorized boats, etc, on this small lake made it even more perfect. Alison was helpful and responsive. Kitchen was well stocked with all you need to cook, and there is a local Dollar General for all that we didn’t have (ketchup, butter, beach towels we forgot to bring, etc)! We would definitely rent again if we return to the area!

Whispering Oaks Cottage was the perfect home for a great family vacation. Everything in the home suited our family's needs. The deck was a great space to sit and view the lake when we weren't down at the small beach or in the lake. Cable Lake was calm and peaceful. The kayaks and peddle boat available to use were great amenities. Alison was very responsive and helpful. We would love to go back to this lovely home.

This property was very nice for our family. Plenty of room for privacy and for gatherings. Kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed. Row boats were quite heavy to turn daily. Raft was great for the kiddos. We all really enjoyed!

Quiet peaceful stay.

The view of the lake is beautiful. The house is spacious and has everything you would need for a family vacation. The beds are very comfortable and having 2 family rooms would be perfect for 2 families with kids.

This house accommodated our large crew. The host was very responsive, and we look forward to staying in the future.

What a perfect location! Close to Dowagiac, which was very charming, it is right on the lake, easy traveling with good roads (a huge plus in the winter) and winter sports near by. The home was immaculate. Kitchen well stocked with cooking equipment. Plenty of room to gather and space to break up into groups. Just lovely.

We stayed here off season and enjoyed the quiet and serene setting. The house was perfect for our family - clean, comfortable beds, well equipped, and plenty of room for all of us. The view off the back of the house is stunning. Alison was easy to communicate with and there for us if we had any questions. I would highly recommend a stay here!

Very enjoyable

We really enjoyed our week at Alison's lake house. The property was clean and very comfortable. We spent a lot of time by the water fishing (bluegill and bass), kayaking, swimming and enjoying the swim raft. There were plenty of chairs down by the water and above by the house to enjoy the view of the peaceful lake! The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in. The air worked great on some very hot summer days! When not outside we were playing games at the large table inside or watching the Olympics. Internet service worked well for some remote work that needed to be done. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and pleasant to walk through. Short drive to ice cream on one of the other sister lakes. Any questions were promptly responded to and we were very happy with our stay! Thank you Alison for sharing your home!

Our second stay was as good as the first! We did it all: kayaked around the lake, used the pedal boat, fished from the row boat, swam to the platform, roasted marshmallows by the campfire, ate ice cream at Driftwood….. all in a long weekend. The sand hill cranes were an extra bonus this time! I loved hearing them every evening. The house is clean and updated. We found many things to do inside too. We played pool and few board games, and we even finished a 1000 piece puzzle. Thank you, Alison.

Comfortable and relaxing place to regroup during a large family gathering at a neighboring lake. The upper deck and the easy water access were our most frequently used aspects. We all slept soundly in the beds, too. Communication with Alison and the organized info binder were great.
