Relax Inn at The Lookout at Lake Chelan

We loved the location of Relax Inn off of the greenway and centrally located to the pool. The home is beautifully outfitted. We particularly enjoyed the upstairs media room with theater seating. The hot tub was also a highlight. We would definitely look to stay here again.

We enjoyed our short stay at this modern and comfortable home and wish we could have stayed longer. It was roomy enough for our family and had all the amenities needed. The neighborhood had two pools, a beach and daily activities. We would love to return in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really wish there were more options for weekend stays, we stayed 3 nights and still had to stay in the same home as last year. This home is great we really love the room arrangements and the number of bathrooms, but compared to last year we saw really poor quality things. Upon our arrival, someone came to fix the kitchen cabinet and TV which was great since it was already broken before we got there but definitely could have been fixed before we checked in. But my kids locked a door and it had floaties and games inside, we called 3x and still no one came to fix it, we called about the upstairs sink because the faucet was loose. I think, if there's a door there needs to be a key especially since this is a family rental area, kids of course play with doors and accidentally lock it, thank God it wasn't our bedroom door since no one came to unlock it for us. There was a room upstairs that had no pillow cases on the pillow and the breaker in that room kept shutting off, every morning we would have to reset the breaker. The kitchen floor was clean but after walking barefoot you can tell they barely mopped. I love the area and the amenities, I just wished they were better about fixing things, I did notice the quality of house was poor compared to last, not sure what had happened. I hope to stay in a different home next year.

Surprisingly we could all fit around the big table as a the kids and 2 adults could share the bench. The house was decorated very beautifully. But we found we had to move a lot of the decorations out of the way to be able to use the home. It has a great location. Easily accommodated our 3 cars. All the appliances were great! We didn’t open hot tub so can’t comment on that.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year at the Lookout for the 4th of July and this experience wasn't great! Our A/C was broken so they provided portable units for some of the spaces, but not all. They hooked one of the units up incorrectly so it just blew hot air in a bedroom and didn't fix it for THREE days despite MANY phone calls. The units were VERY bulky and VERY loud!!! This isn't an overly roomy home so they were very cumbersome and quite disruptive. The Lookout gave us a nominal discount for our stay but in our eyes it wasn't nearly enough for the numerous phone calls we had to make, the noise level, the amount of technicians in and out of the home for the first four days of our 6 day stay! Overall REALLY disappointed with management as I left a message on the general manager's voicemail, never called me back. Left THREE messages with the office for the manager to call me back, never did. Not at ALL the type of customer service you'd expect when paying $800-1000 a night. All in all....service doesn't match the price point!!!! It is a cute home, well decorated, however lacking closet/storage space. There is a pantry off the kitchen but it is locked so the only space to store a weeks worth of food is on the counter. The closets in the upstairs bedroom are these teeny cubby-like units. My husband is 6'8 so he literally had to bend in half to retrieve anything from the closet. All in all, we left very disappointed with our experience. Lookout management you can do better!!!!
