Stayed May 6, 2025The house was perfect for our group to enjoy while we were in town to enjoy the Metallica concert at Lane Stadium. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accomodate up to 10 people comfortably. Kitchen was great and well stocked. Large yard for your furry friend(s) so they can come with you! We will definitely be back to stay when we travel to Blacksburg in the future!

Stayed May 8, 2024Great place to stay for our large family visiting Blacksburg for graduation! Only 10 minutes to the center of campus. Super spacious, large property and yard, and plenty of space for parking. Very clean inside the house but could use some TLC outside the property. Nonetheless, we had a great stay!

Stayed Sep 17, 2025I cannot recommend this property.Yard was mowed, but obviously not frequently, with deep swaths of grass clippings all over the yard,There is a derelict motorcycle in the driveway.House is dusty/dirty inside. Sheets, etc. were clean enough, but much of the furniture is dusty and stained.Couches in the upstairs TV area are BADLY worn, and frankly uncomfortable.A circuit breaker blew, but the breaker box is located in the locked off garage which cannot be accessed. A total off 8 or 10 calls to property management were required to get this taken care off. On representative claimed there was a key to the garage in the cleaner's closet, but there certainly was no such key. Plus the doors to the cleaner's closet are untracked and jammed. At one point I was told they were calling the POWER COMPANY to fix the problem. The contact persons seemed, frankly, to be adjacent to incompetent. At one point I believe I was talking to someone in India or Pakistan. Eventually someone was sent out with a key and reset the breaker. We were then warned not to use items like hair dryers because they could pop the circuit breaker. So who doesn't use a hair dryer? And, this information is nowhere to be found on the VRBO listing. NOT ACCEPTABLE.Porch railings were wobbly and seemed likely to collapse if someone leaned on them.Porch furniture was dirty and had to be cleaned up before it could be used.Do not rent this house.

Stayed Mar 20, 2025This house had great space for my extended family of 8, and a wonderful yard that we played corn hole and made a teepee out of recently downed tree limbs and watched deer daily! Convenient to get to campus. Loved the space in the house - split level with 2 bedrooms on lower level (perfect for my 2 younger grandkids to nap/sleep), and roomy upper level with 3 bedrooms and 2 big TVs which were perfect for watching March madness games. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will definitely book this house again when visiting Blacksburg.

Stayed Mar 12, 2025The location is beautiful. The host needs to look into the cleaning service because we needed to clean when we got there and could not use most of the kitchen pans, dishes, etc. We had to buy a coffee pot because of the condition of the pot and the grill and all the items for it were unusable because they have not been cleaned.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025The house was perfect for our needs and very comfortable for 7 ppl. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 of which have an en suite bathroom. Beds were very comfy. It was a 15-minute drive from VT and had everything we needed for a long weekend. We enjoyed the foosball table. The only thing we couldn't figure out was how to get the TV to not look purple. Maybe the owners can adjust the settings. Other than that, we really had a great stay.

Stayed Jan 10, 2025Although we were there for a sad occasion (my mother's funeral), the host was fantastic with communicating and making sure our experience was a good one. We stayed during winter storm Cora, so he had someone come and salt the driveway so we could get in and out, and the property is just beautiful. We saw so many deer out in the snow - just lovely! There is a giant screen TV and we watched some football there. My kids were able to come up for the funeral, so it was nice to all be in one place instead of spread out at a hotel.I would love to go back to this location for another trip in better circumstances.I highly recommend the property.

Stayed Oct 4, 2024We loved the large great room and decks. And the foosball table smack in the middle of it all made for many impromptu and super-fun games.

Stayed Sep 5, 2024We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cottage is located in a forest like setting which was quiet but beautiful. The house was very clean and comfortable for us. It has 3 master suites which was perfect for us. The large yard was perfect for our dog who loved running around and chasing her ball. The cottage was also convenient to Blacksburg and Lane Stadium. We would definitely stay here again.
