Family-Friendly Blacksburg Retreat w/ Playground!

Very clean property, quiet neighborhood, excellent communication with owners, easy check-in and check-out. Easy access to Blacksburg. The nearby brewery (10 minute walk) has great beer and food!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Close to Virginia Tech -- house was comfortable and clean and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

Check in was easy, kitchen could have a few more coffee cups and plates, wifi was good and easy to get into Blacksburg

Nice house. Nice stay. I think they are getting ripped off by their cleaning/maintenance company because: Outside trash was full even though instructions were posted to take trash out to curb when leaving. Sheets in dryer upon arrival. Refrigerator had spoiled items in it even though the instructions were to discard all items upon departure. Storm door was broken and slammed on my 3 year old granddaughters head.

Accommodations were perfect for 3 adult generations. Location was central to planned activities. Food options were great and close. Nice and quiet road. House was wonderful for our family. Having main floor bedrooms and bathrooms was needed for 87 year old mother/grandmother. Thank you!!!

Our daughter was graduating from VT so we gathered the family for a few days of fun and sightseeing. The house was roomy and comfortable. Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Our family had a chance to stay here over the Easter weekend and found the house to be exactly what we needed. Plenty of space. Including a great basement suite, complete with a bar, huge couch and TV.  We were looking for a house with easy access for my 93 year old father-in-law and this place definitely has it. Flat walk in from the car port and another master bedroom on the main levelThe kitchen has everything you need as well. Owner has done a really nice job of setting the place up so you feel at home when you arrive. And location is excellent as well. Steps away from the Moon Hollow brew pub and just a short drive back into Blacksburg. This is a great spot and we look forward to renting it again on our next visit backThanks!

Three families stayed at this property as their girls were in a volleyball tournament at Virginia Tech. This house was very clean and worked extremely well for us… And it was close to everything we needed to go to! Wonderful place to stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is on a quiet street and large lot-- we even noticed deer passing through each morning behind the house. It is conveniently located to everything you'd need in the Blacksburg area, and a short drive to Fairlawn and Radford. Since we planned on cooking most meals and doing some holiday baking, I brought a few cooking utensils and an Instant Pot with us. Otherwise, the kitchen was stocked with everything else we needed for a short term rental. The basement adds a great amount of space to spread out or cozy up for a movie. We especially appreciated the playground right outside the kitchen! Adults can sit under the carport or on the firepit patio while the kids play. A vacuum and broom/dustpan were accessible to guests which was nice so we could tidy up as needed. The coat closet and pantry are not accessible to guests but there is counter and cabinet space to store pantry items during your stay.

We had a great time getting together after Christmas and before new year.

We had a very enjoyable stay here! The couches were comfortable, as were the beds. An easy drive to nearby restaurants and breweries, but in a quiet neighborhood. More chairs at the kitchen table or another table with chairs downstairs would be a good addition.

This place was absolutely perfect for all of us! The owners were so responsive and helpful in a pinch. Will definitely be staying there whenever we are in town.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as advertised. It was the perfect size for us: two adult couples, one single, and one mom and child. We enjoyed hanging out in the living room and kitchen as well as having our spaces to move to when needed. Communication with the owners was promptly responded to, and all information about the location was on point It is a quick drive into Blacksburg down town or to VT. Not far from the Cascades waterfall, and right next to a really tasty restaurant and brewery! Great place for a family stay!

We stayed at Drillfield Dreamin' for graduation weekend. Easy keyless entry, great communication from the owners, clean house, flat backyard, and plenty of space. The basement has a large area to hang out and a fun coffee area with microwave and mini fridge. It is a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes from the edge of campus. Moon Hollow Brewery is right around the corner. Would stay there again!
