Stayed Oct 12, 2025Great place to just go and enjoy the peace. The lake frontage was beautiful and the casual fishing from the shore was steady. The town had a couple of good restaurants and we enjoyed day trips to Edom and Ben Wheeler. The only suggestion I have is getting lighting on the dock and lakeside so it can be enjoyed into the night.

Unfortunately that's abut all the good things I can sayMany non hospitable things about this location:-back deck in very poor condition , almost dangerous, dirty patio furniture-lack of amenities , simple things like Kleenex etc. etc.-master bedroom has no closest -junk piled up against garage in back yard-refig door falling apart-cheap kitchen accessories-poor AC in game room -back door lock doesn't workMany more - bottom line for that price I would not recommend

Stayed May 23, 2025Not impressed with cleanliness upon arrival. Cobwebs were not cleaned and on furniture inside. The air conditioner would not work. Host placed a claim that did not occur during stay. Door was like that prior to stay.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024This property is an absolute delight especially if you like fishing. The layout was perfect for the seven of us! Make sure you wake up early for the incredible morning view of the lake from the deck of the house! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for Thanksgiving dinner! That was amazing! Plenty of towels and pillows too!

Stayed Nov 1, 2024Great location on the lake. Very relaxing and incredible view. Host was friendly and responsive. Home was close to town and near the event we traveled for. Will need to travel again during warmwr weather to enjoy the lake and amenities we did not get to take advantage of. Highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 5, 2024This was our second stay at this particular lakehouse and just had a great time. The house, the boat dock, and the veiw are wonderful. Reasonable price, not too far from DFW, but far enough to feel like you are away from it all.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024We so enjoyed this beautiful home with gorgeous sunrises! Big lake dock with lots of seating as well as a nice deck off the house. Well decorated house with a kitchen that had everything you need! Great stay!
