Such a cute place with beautiful views!

For one, the listing should say that the dock is not usable. Could not find any frying pans. Kitchen organization was messy. The house is old and could use a really good deep clean. I would not recommend because the second bedroom doesn’t have access to the bathroom unless you walk outside to the main house. That was a pain during the night. This would not be a good place for tall people. The loft has low ceilings and the 1/2 bath has a very tiny sink and even lower ceilings and you have to get really low just to look in the mirror. The bed linens were nice and pretty but the towels/washcloths were all mismatched and old. I will say it has a beautiful view of the lake. We did enjoy sitting out by the fire pit. The neighborhood is a little sketchy.

The property itself was clean and really cute. The neighborhood was not desirable but not the property's fault. Boat dock needs work, but we weren't using it so not a problem with our stay. Sitting on the porch enjoying the lake was a definite plus.

Everything was as described. My family and I really enjoyed our stay & we will definitely be back! Great fishing and a good weekend get away

We had a great time and the weather and lake was wonderful! We had a great time fishing and swimming right off the pier! The lake gave up some great fish! We had a fish fry and it was delicious! Roasting marshmallows and hot dogs on the camp fire was so much fun! Our host were so helpful and friendly! Cindy was wonderful to just talk to and provided all the information needed. We would definitely book with her again. They are renovating the house next door which would accommodate all my family also. Looking forward to next year!

Had a wonderful and relaxing long weekend over the 4th. The house has everything we needed to just stay in and enjoy the fireworks around the lake! Very clean and organized. Thanks!!

Perfect for two but will accommodate four. Super nice little cottage equipped with everything you need right down to the salt and pepper. Communication with the host was timely and pleasant and the property was even nicer than the pictures indicate! Full kitchen,two A/C units and an awesome view of the lake. Caught some fish right off the dock. Two TV's in the main cottage and one in the detached room, also with a washer and dryer.My wife and I plan to come back here soon! Book it. You won't be disappointed.

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property very much! As others have mentioned, the neighborhood seemed very economically diverse, and everyone was quiet and friendly. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and quite cozy and comfortable. As stated in the listing, the stairs were steep, so we used them carefully. The beds and furniture were comfortable. They had several pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. I love when a property has an actual coffee pot, and not just a keurig, and this location had both! Another plus is when a location provides bodywash, shampoo, and conditioner, as I have to pack even less items. This property had that as well! Along with towels that were quite soft. We spent our days fishing, and our evenings making s’mores. We caught (and released), 33 fish! Mostly catfish! The property was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs while sipping wine and looking at the lake. Unfortunately, it was cloudy the entire time we were there, so we didn’t get to see the beautiful sunrise that Cyndi had told us about. That will have to happen for a future visit! My daughter and I loved staying here! Super cute and comfy, quiet, relaxing and not far from town. We loved it!

The cabin was clean and cozy , we had a relaxing nice time spending Christmas with our kids, my husband enjoyed fishing and caught several catfish and bass, the only downfall was the neighborhood , we was a little nervous driving through the neighborhood on the way to the cabin but once we got to the cabin , the surrounding neighbors seemed to be better, all in all we did enjoy our stay

The view out the back was amazing!! Beds were comfortable. Staircase not child friendly, pretty steep but we loved the property and could definitely book it again

The location has great views of the lake. Rocking chairs to sit and enjoy the morning sunrise. Birds singing. Porch area could of used a dusting and a little paint.

Perfect place to get away and enjoy the sunsets and some fishing. Host was very responsive to all my messages. Nice cozy atmosphere.

Upon arrival, the A/C was not working. Within 10 minutes, another unit was brought. Very eager to make our stay enjoyable. We were disappointed the nice pier that went with the property was not operable due to a recent storm. There was another pier and the boat dock made available to us. That is the only reason I did not give 5 stars across the board. We had a nice stay and hope to come again soon.

Cyndi has to be the best our 7yr old forgot her purse there and was very upset and Cyndi made sure sure gor ir back as soon as she could

We stayed a week. It's what we needed for relaxation. If you like water activities, then this is right up your alley!. We fished a lot from the dock. Our boat ended up not working, but we enjoyed the lake anyways. The house did have a few necessities that we ran out of, but we just bought them ourselves. Since we didn't have access to the boat dock due to storms, we wish we would have known sooner. We wouldn't have brought our boat on the trip. Overall we all enjoed the lake and fishing and eating some fresh carfish:) Tyler, TX was only about 15 minutes away which was nice as well. Theworking, but we eourselves

My husband booked the property for fishing and unfortunately there was storm damage to the dock .We spoke to the owner about damage and a few things that would not meet our particular needs .She was very gracious and we found a very nice solution to the problems . We ended up having a wonderful stay at the lake .I suggest you read the description very well as there a few things at this particular location that may make it difficult for older folks. Make sure storms haven’t affected the lake if you want to fish.Otherwise very good value for the money.
