Our last tailgating event at VMI as our son graduates this year. The experience was more than enhanced do to this piece of paradise where we could gather and relax before and after a long day!! This VRBO is more than a place to lay your head, it is a home away from home, taken care of with much pride.
We booked a stay here because of the great proximity to VMI! We keep coming back because it is a little piece of Heaven on Earth. We have fallen in love with owners as well. They are humble and kind. Cannot wait to come back in November!
Beautiful location on the Maury River and very clean house. Hosts are very accommodating and even provided honey from their own hives and soap made from that honey.
Nice and relaxing to stay close to the river while we were in town for my son’s wedding. We even managed to do a little kayaking!! Honey and homemade soaps were a nice touch! I was very appreciative of Jason (the owner) getting in touch with me personally. Thank you!
This place is superb for relaxation and peace and quiet. It is as advertised and the kitchen is really well furnished. It was really clean and we have stayed in a lot of VRBO homes and this surpassed many of those. The hosts are super helpful and nice. We had a very enjoyable stay and would rate everything as a 10! Ann and Glenn
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The quiet country setting, nice home with large porch, and things to do around there were great! The hosts were friendly and communicative, and we would definitely stay here again.
On a three-week road trip with my childhood friend, Rockbridge Baths was the perfect location for several days' stay. The house was cute and comfortable with wonderful and picturesque views. The host was very friendly and accessible if we needed anything. Should I find myself in that part of the country again, I would choose to stay here.
We had a great visit. Our hosts were friendly and thoughtful. The house was clean and cozy. It was an amazing and relaxing weekend getaway.
This property never disappoints! The views the river and the hospitality of the owners is “top notch”
Great property with many activities on site. Looking forward to many more stays here. A VMI parents dream location with wonderful owners.
Jen and Jason were terrific hosts. The house was perfect for me and my two teenage boys. Great spot for our fly-fishing trip! Couldn't have asked for more.
We just spent the weekend but could have stayed the week! This house is well equipped, clean, comfortable and Jen and Jason are very accommodating hosts.
This was the perfect location for a family gathering. My family & I were in the area for a wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. The host's went out of their way to make the whole family feel welcome, even allowing my 2 & 3 y/o grandsons to help feed the chickens. Everything we needed or wanted was already on site. We enjoyed smores by the fire pit at night & fishing/kayaking on the river by day. Amazing stay with amazing hosts. Secluded location. We did not have cell service while on site but Wifi access was a breeze so that helped. Highly recommend this great stay!!! Thanks Jason & Jen!
Nice country setting
We had a great stay with my parents, spouse and 2 kids. We enjoyed the kayaks and swimming in the river and took the bikes on a spin! The area is beautiful and there are lots of farms and green rolling pastures and fields. The fishing rods were an awesome bonus and the kids had fun trying to catch fish in the river. The house was immaculately maintained and so charming. We hiked the Chambers Ridge Trail one morning too and went to RoadMap Coffee Works (15 minutes). The owners were great hosts, we enjoyed the honey!
We enjoyed our stay 100% It’s not the fanciest or most up to date place ever so if that’s what you’re looking for this isn’t it. But for the same price or cheaper than a hotel room you get an entire house in a quiet area, full kitchen two baths, lots of puzzles and board games. The owners provide bicycles, kayaks and fishing gear witch was awesome even if you have it at home you don’t have to lug it with you. The river is nice and there’s chairs and a picnic table down there so you can relax. The owners live next door and are very accommodating if you need anything.
What an awesome quaint nostalgic place in a beautiful area. Absolutely gorgeous property with river access kayaks fishinhg poles etc. Nice burn pit ,back porch to relax and enjoy the scenery. Jason is a cordial and friendly Owner/host. Very affordable about 10-12 minutes to Lexington and 25-30 to Buena Vista our 2 sons attend SVU. Already have the place booked again. Neat record player stereo in house with 45s/78 s .
We randomly chose a great location for our get-away. The Mast Mill Guest House is comfortable and clean and the area is naturally fascinating... just the place to 'melt the stress'. We highly recommend a stay here =) The hosts are so welcoming!
