Relax at The Retreat

Decor was so cute (not overstaged, with subtle beach touches). House was CLEAN with no critters anywhere except outside! Wifi was great. Lots of coffee cups, dinnerware, with adequate silverware. Lots of cooking/serving ware. Bring serving bowls if making large meals (and containers or plastic wrap/aluminum foil for leftover storage). Pots good, but skillets have been burned, so hard to use. Location great, even if not beachside. Beds comfy.Grocery market down the street has great selection.The host did an amazing job, and it was a great house!SUGGESTIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT - MORE towels (suggest 1 towel per person per day plus a couple more and 1 beach towel pp per every 2 nights of stay)- WD40 doors and drawers, especially upstairs - Hot water in upstairs shower only gets warm, but gets hot in sink, and tub is slow to drain when showering- Add keypad to garage door where you pull in (or instructions to go into entryway)- Fix house entry keypad (or add at least 1 more housekey (and pool key))- provide instructions for how to use TV remotes (living room has 2 remotes, but could never figure out how to get to local stations)- Add small trashcans in bedrooms- Add fatigue mat in kitchen

We came down for a family reunion and wanted to stay together as our immediate family. My brother, his two teenagers, my husband, my toddler and infant all stayed here comfortably. My family took the primary bedroom and we were able to comfortably fit our toddler air mattress and pack n play in the room with us. The teenagers and my brother stayed upstairs. Having the ps4 was perfection for our teenagers. It was nice for some down time out of the sun. The pool was definitely a highlight for my family, especially our littles. We could have spent all day there. The entire home was spotless when we arrived. The beds were comfortabl, and linens were nice. The kitchen had plenty of space to prepare meals. What was really helpful was having the wagon and beach chairs to borrow to take to the beach. It was great and they were super easy to rinse off. We are already talked about rebooking next year for the family reunion again! I should also add Rene was super easy to communicate with when we had questions, and the perfect host! I would recommend the retreat to everyone!

It was a great stay very close to White Cap beach. The only issue we found was the leaking bathroom just above the refrigerator which was kind of gross. I let the owner know about it and send him a video, however I believe there was no way to fix that while we were there. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay at The Retreat was wonderful. Upon arrival our unit was nice and clean and ready for our family to enjoy a few days of sunshine and relaxation.The beds are nice and comfy while offering a relaxing area for young adult family members. The kitchen is stocked with all you need to cook up a wonderful meal and enjoy with your family members. Whether it's watching movies, or using the provided gaming system there is plenty of activities to partake in while on property. The swimming pool is absolutely gorgeous and offers a nice place to unwind while the family is cooling off in the resort style pool. This condominium complex is in close proximity to many outdoor adventures, whether is going to White Cap Beach, National Seashore, or Treasure Island you are sure to find something to do while enjoying your stay. It's a short drive to either Port Aransas or Corpus Christi for additional day adventures if you so choose. Our family enjoyed our stay at The Retreat and we will definitely book again!

Great stay for the weekend. Lovely townhouse with everything you need. Property has a beautiful pool and very close to the beach and other North Padre locations. Highly recommend!

The listing was exactly as stated. The location was perfect for our beach to bay trip. The pool was nice and not overly crowded. Will definitely be coming back. Communication was great as well.

Great place! Our family cant wait to come back! This is by far the best condo we have stayed at in North Padre. The host made sure there is everything you need to have a great time, just bring food and drink and you will feel like you're at home except you will be in paradise. The pool is lovely as well and so close to Whitecap Beach. Go RELAX at the Retreat, you won't be dissapointed.

It was clean and had a well-stocked kitchen. The pool was great after time at the beach. The check-in was easy and we were close to the beach and to the causeway where my husband and sons met up with their fishing guide. Would stay again.
