REFLECTING A RICH HERITAGE, PAST TO PRESENT

From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience. The host/agent provided timely, helpful assistance getting settled into the house and the property was amazing. Clean. Elegant. Well stocked kitchen. Luxury amenities. Great location. Super helpful notebook with all of the information about the house and things to do in Santa Fe. We would definitely return.

Casa Ladera is a beautiful home in a great part of Santa Fe, very convenient to Canyon Rd and the square but also very near several of our favorite hikes, Picacho Peak and Atalaya Mountain. The home is wonderfully maintained with all amenities we are accustomed to at Caroline's properties. Only two of us on this trip but this home is well suited to multiple couples, there are multiple living areas and the sleeping areas are at opposite ends of the home. We will definitely stay here again.

I reserved this property for my family for a very special Christmas experience. Caroline, the property manager handled the transaction. This was an expensive trip so after paying and completing everything that was required we felt that everything was set....I made this reservation in May of 2021 so at least six months out.....The night before my rental was to start at 5:30 in the evening I received a phone call from Caroline who asked if we could delay our start date because a film crew had rented the house and it needed to be cleaned and returned to its normal set up....This is insane !!! My wife and I were already in Santa Fe and our children were halfway driving from Houston. I insisted that she honor the arrival date because there wasn't anything left in town for eight people. We did manage to get in the house and they were still cleaning until 5 o'clock (checkin was three). the house was filthy, dust balls everywhere and you could tell the cleaning was a rush job. My wife vacuumed most of the house herself. There is a terrible ant infestation in the house and some of the bathroom sinks don't drain, the house needs to to professionally cleaned and the walls touched up, it felt heavily used ! There was even fake blood on a column outside the back door, the filming crew was evidently filming a horror movie.??? Caroline never once apologised for causing such anxiety and stress... I would not rent this house again or use Caroline, I would not trust her, So, after renting this property six months out and leaving it in better condition than we received it, I expect more from the rental agent and property condition.

Beautiful, spacious and very nicely appointed home in walking distance to Canyon Road. We will definitely return!

Casa Ladera is wonderful and the mature landscape around the property is plentiful and immaculate. The property has a great location and a big backyard. The kitchen has everything that we needed including a professional quality Wolf gas stove, plenty of counter space and all imaginable utensils. The living areas are comfortable and very nicely decorated. Likewise the Master bedroom suite is great and the other bedrooms are well furnished. Bathroom amenities are supplied and a welcome basket greets you into the house. Thank you to all staff and owners of this beautiful house for making our stay in Santa Fe comfortable and highly enjoyable!

Casa Ladera was a great house to rent. Beautifully furnished and fully equipped, all of our needs were anticipated.

We needed a break from the city and Casa Ladera came to the rescue. It was just the two of us and I captured the sunny window seat to read a great novel and my husband took over the TV room to watch the games. At day's end, we cooked incredible meals in the well-equipped kitchen and retired to the gracious living room for a glass of wine. Seems simple enough but it was the best retreat ever.
