We had a great time! Loved this house!!
Very well built cabin, beautiful landscaping. But, is not secluded as advertised. Main Road right behind cabin.
Great experience; house, property and prompt customer service. Our only issue during the stay was with cleanliness- twin bed sheets had crumbs and dog hair in them (indicating that they may not have been changed) and some areas appeared to not have been vacuumed. Sheets were promptly replaced when when we shared this with the rental company and we appreciated that.
Great for a long weekend!
While the house itself was wonderful. Beautifully decorated, the location, for us, was horrible. Yes, off in the distance you can see the mountains, but the front yard is a parking lot and the rear of the house is literally yards from a well traveled highway. When you sleep your head is a handful of yards from the road. I am a light sleeper and could not sleep. There is constant traffic during the day as well as frequent traffic at night and early morning. We have never done this, but we actually ended up leaving more than a day early -- since this property is expensive, we basically flushed $400 down the toilet. I should have done more research on this location. If you want something more private and quiet, this is not for you. Bummed.
My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary and enjoyed everything about the cabin. It was clean, new and kept up beautifully. It had everything we needed for a comfortable 5 days. There is traffic you can hear if you are sitting on the porch but it didn’t really bother us. I spent my afternoons reading while sitting on the comfortable porch swing. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others!
See those trees shown in the pictures behind the property? They line a highway. A noisy gasoline smelling highway. So, we came all the way to North Carolina expecting a relaxing vacation in the mountains and what we got was non stop car noise. There is a note all the way down in the description of the property under additional notes. This should be the first thing they disclose. Also, the property needs a good deep clean. The kitchen especially. The oven and refrigerator in particular. There is no table on the outside porch, although with the gas smell and noise I doubt we would have used it. The cabin is also full (over 25) decor pillows. Faux furr pillows and plastic plants. How are those cleaned after each guest? The bed linnens were winter appropriate not summer so we were constantly hot. Also the AC broke 3 days into our stay. However Blue Ridge Rentals were very prompt with their repairs. Overall a terrible experience that pretty much ruined our summer vacation.
Beautiful dog friendly cabin. Luxury, stylish decor. Sofas and beds very comfortable. Loved the porch too. Highly recommend for a couple or family with small kids. Loved it and so did our fur baby!
The pictures don’t lie.. this place was absolutely amazing and so homey feeling.. you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back to stay..
This house was absolutely wonderful! It’s beautiful, very clean (which was super important to us since we’ve been very cautious with Covid), and it’s in a wonderful little neighborhood. Checking in was easy, they email you the gate code and house code before you arrive. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer, but we will definitely be back!
