Redondo Oceanfront-Mission Beach Home, Sleeps 11!

We have been staying in the beach for 10 years. This was my first time in a place wirh a leak. What surprised me most was the lack of effort to fix or compensation us for having water in our living space for two days. And to know that the space was to be rented agin in 6 hours. This place waa not rentable again.

Overall the house was fine. The parking is tight… but expected (stay inside the lines or you will be ticketed). The dishwasher was broken upon arrival, apparently the cleaners didn’t. Price as all the dish’s were dirty in the cabinets. I would say that a house that sleeps 11 could invest in some larger pots and pans. But overall the kids had a great time at the ocean!

The home was a huge disappointment. The heater did not work in the main living room/kitchen, and we were all freezing as we gathered for meals. The towels were skimpy, and we had to buy extra rolls of toilet paper since there was insufficient provided. An unknown car was parked in one of the 2 spaces we'd been assigned, and we had nowhere else to park, so we had to park & Uber from far away. Our email to the office asking for guidance to alternative parking went unanswered. We are loyal VRBO customers, but we won't be back here.

Beach views, great patio, fantastic location. We had a blast!

This property is directly on the Mission Beach boardwalk. You will hear conversations and music as people stroll, run, bike or skate by. It is constant from 6a-10p. The windows are also mirrored on the outside, so lots of folks stop to take selfies in the windows. There are beach chairs and boogie boards available. The rental company also offers beach towels, umbrellas and additional beach essentials to borrow. The layout of the house is strange. You have to walk through rooms to get to other rooms. There are not really hallways. The rental company is very responsive to emails and calls.

Found the property to exactly as described. Prime location for our family of 8. Quiet, peaceful, wonderful views. Patio is a big plus, will return! Booking was easy, office staff great to work with and close by for misc. needs.

Couldn’t be happier. Amazing people watching and even better sunsets and sunrises.

Kids were on the beach at 7 am and on and off until 8 pm every day. Was awesome to sit on the porch at the house and still be able to watch the kids play in the sand and sea safely. House was great, could have used a few more towels. Just threw them in the dryer every day to keep up. Had a great time! Loved having beach toys available to us.

We had a great time staying at the house just looking out at the beach and enjoying meeting some friendly people strolling on the boardwalk.
