Red Sky Lake House - Tranquility at the lake!

This lake house has everything you could want! Terra is a awesome host, quickly answering questions and making sure we knew everything needed for the home, boat, and lake. We rented all of the lake toys and used them all. It was wonderful to explore the lake on the boat, swim, float, paddleboard, bird watch, play 'large' jenga, make smores, and enjoy Lake Life!

Nice location for a family getaway. Superb communication with the property manager. Clean and inviting house. Available water toys are a huge plus. Highly recommend this property!

My husband and I arrived on Friday as expected. We were beyond pleased with the cleanliness of the house and property. I am very sensitive to mold and dust and old smells, Red Sky Lake House was spotless and no evidence of previous guests. The decor was delightful and what I like for a lake house theme. Rooms were a good size. Terra had not missed a thing in providing everything needed for our stay. Our guests arrived on Sunday and were just as delighted as we were. The lake and pontoon didn't disappoint either. Dear hubby and I plan to return this November to experience Badin Lake and Red Sky Lake House again. We were pleased that we got to meet Terra in person. She is awesome !!!!

The owner was wonderful and the home so comfortable. My family loved renting the boat- so fun! Also loved the outdoor dock and fire pit.

This was one the nicest places we have ever stayed. The views are phenomenal. we will definitely be booking this place again.

Very clean, quite, great stay

Our family met up here for a quiet Christmas getaway and we were not disappointed. This place was the perfect spot for our time together. The home was decorated for Christmas making it extra special and homey. It rained almost the whole time we were here but there was plenty to do in the house to keep us busy. The host is amazing and had several recommendations for things to do in the area. We also enjoyed the fire by the lake on the one night it didn’t rain. Highly recommend this spot!

We had a very nice stay at Lake Badin. We got to enjoy the fall colors both from the nice porches as well as from the pontoon boat. Great place!

Our book club of five older women stayed here over the weekend. Our hostess, Terra, thought of everything one could possibly need. One of my friends said, I feel so cared for. The view from the dock of the fall leaves was so pretty and peaceful. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the house was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed an outing to Gold Hill antique village. We hope to stay here again.

I rented this house to just relax and enjoy some family time ! My grandson came in from Texas and it was my daughter’s birthday. The house was very spacious and the view was spectacular!

This property never disappoints. The house is always clean and stocked wirh every amenity. There is a welcome token when you arrive. Terra is such a great host.

We made a last minute decision to book a lakehouse for a quick 5 day / 4 night getaway, and Red Sky was absolutely perfect. The property is located in a nice cove where you can watch the sun come up every morning out on the spacious deck. There was plenty of room at the dock for our boat, and the house was spacious, comfortable, and clean and had everything you need to enjoy some time away. Terra is great to work with, and everything in the home is in good working order. We would definitely rent again!

This is the 2nd stay at this house and it is the one we will continue to stay in when we go on vacation at Badin. Terra has thought of everything, and all the special touches make you feel like it is home. There are lots of lake toys to rent and enjoy and we all enjoyed the lake mats this year! It was great for our grandkids as they are not yet great swimmers. We appreciate being able to bring our fur babies with us, it would not be vacation without them being a part of it. Definitely a house worth staying at and excellent communication with Terra. The perfect house for our trip!!

Everything we expected and more! The entire family loved the laid back atmosphere and the home was warm and inviting. Owner is super responsive and helpful!

This is an immaculate property! Everything is clean and you don’t have to bring a ton of extras just to start enjoying your time. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen and bathroom supplies. The bathrooms have shampoo and conditioner and body wash to use. The outdoor water toys were super fun. My kids used them all and explored the nearby shorelines for turtles and otters. We fished off the dock and off the boat. Our last night my son caught his first fish off the dock. The hosts were extremely efficient with communicating with us and helped with any issues that arose!! One thing to remember is the grocery is about 20 minutes away, so if you want to bring a cooler to stock up for the first night and the next morning that would be best. Also, not a lot of restaurants so plan to cook at the house! We had a wonderful time!!
