We had a superb stay at this cozy but beautiful suite. The hosts thought of everything, including a personal hand written welcome note, a basket of snacks, and thoughtful touches everywhere in the unit. This was a restful, relaxing place to come home to after a long day of hiking in Sequoia National Park. It’s extremely close to the park entrance but also quiet and secluded. We didn’t have a cell signal here but the included WiFi was fast and effective. Highly recommended for a stay in Sequoia National Park.

We had a wonderful stay at the Rose Retreat Red Mountain Suite. Lori, our host was fantastic. The suite was very nice, clean and well equipped. Lori had water and snacks waiting for us. The grounds we well kept and enjoyable with outdoor seating and picnic tables. The view was also nice and the sunset spectacular! For us the location could not be beat, just a few minutes from Sequoia Park entrance. Grab a coffee and breakfast bowl from the Totem Market. We had the Sequoia bowl and it was great. We will certainly stay here again on our next Sequoia Park visit! Thanks Lori and John!

This place felt like “home”! Quiet, seclusion and nature all around which made for great downtime outside of Sequoia NP. Setting on the chairs in front of our unit, we watched deer, squirrels, jays, woodpeckers and more come to the “bird feeders”. In the unit, the upscale linens, bedding and coffee bar with the local photography tastefully adorning the modern cabin vibe made this the best lodging imaginable!

Red Mountain Suite is perfect. There is no other way to describe it. The location is literally less than a mile from the entrance to Sequoia. The suite has every conceivable amenity that you probably forgot you needed. The place is spotlessly clean, the shower hot with just the right pressure and the bed so comfortable that you may opt out of an early start so you can sleep in. This is a place I would stay again and again if I have the opportunity. Thank you for making our visit to Sequoia ideal.

We had a fantastic stay at the Red Mountain Suite! Lori and John were great communicators, and provided detailed directions and instructions as well as a selection of restaurants and markets in the area. The property itself was so quiet and peaceful, there were guests in the adjoining property, but we couldn't hear them at all. The suite was clean and so comfortable, and the shower was amazing. This is definitely a place we plan on staying at for future Sequoia trips!

The Rose Retreat was absolutely perfect for our trip to Sequoia National Park. It was close to the entrance and a short drive to the market and restaurants. We loved drinking our morning coffee while watching the birds and squirels outside the window. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Really nice suite and very clean. Lori and John are really great hosts. The place is conveniently located about a mile from the SNP entrance. Lori & John are really great hosts! They provide you with snacks and send you a list of local places to eat and nearby shops and markets. They also provide the days and times they are open, which was also very helpful because the days I was there some places did not open on those days and I would not have known this. Lori was very communicative as well. She made me aware of local weather conditions and of a nearby fire that was not a cause for concern, but wanted to make me aware of it. I would highly recommend staying there.

As someone who likes newer properties, I was very pleased by how new and clean smelling (like a new car smell) Lori’s property was while still being in a rustic setting! It was a great place to disconnect for a few days and get some hikes in (being so close to the park entrance was a plus). Lori was a great host and provided everything needed. She even had the AC on so we could walk into a nice cool room! We’ll definitely be back!

We have rented through VRBO probably about a dozen times and this as the cleanest and nicest location we have been to. Lori answered any questions within minutes. Its only about 2 miles from the park entrance and a very quiet area. Their was bird feeders in front of location that a mule deer emptied every night. Would go back here in a minute.Thank you for letting us stay on your property.

I would stay again and again. The property is lovely, super close to the park entrance, and clean. The hosts paid attention to lots of small details, which enhanced the experience. Birds, quails, squirrels congregated outside and a treat to watch. They supply real toilet paper, so no brush burns. Thank you! My only suggestion is to add a mixing bowl to the kitchen supplies.

Spacious, clean and well appointed property with a good location between Three Rivers businesses and the Sequoia National Park entrance. Entrance to the property can be a little tricky to spot (esp. after dark coming from the park). We even enjoyed some decent birdwatching right from the front of the property. There's no cell service at the property, so you'll have to rely on Wi-Fi for communication. All in all, a very nice stay for a couple's getaway!

If you're looking to book a place to stay for your trip to Sequoia National Park, look no further!! Not only was this place super clean, the hosts were fantastic and supplied all of the necessary information with clear instruction. Not only this, but the hosts provided ALL of the little touches you'd want during your stay-- complimentary amenities, like snack bars and trail mix--that added to the already over-the-top charm! On top of all this, the location was the closest I've ever been to the gates of a National Park -- literally 3 minutes away. Just awesome!
