Red Barn Escape: Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Grill - Mountain Views Near Asheville!

We had a great stay for our cousin's getaway this Spring! The Red Barn was modern and clean. Checking in was super easy. Great and relaxing views. Easy to get into Asheville and surrounding areas. Hot tub was great each evening after a long day of exploring.

Everything was great!

The property was beautiful, with a great view of the mountains from the firepit and deck. Hot tub not for 4 people but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was perfect , probably even better than expected . They have thought of everything . We enjoyed the hot tub after every hike. We loved the privacy, as well as the area . Fairview is a great location w great people. We will stay here again - always more beautiful hikes to be had!! Thank you!

Le Grange Rouge is the first VRBO my wife and I have ever said we definitely want to come back to. Mary and Liz are fantastic hosts. They are responsive, have good local recommendations, and keep the house in immaculate condition. The view from the property is incredible. After dark, we could see Christmas lights all through the valley and brilliant stars overhead, as we smoked cigars around the hillside fire pit. What a wonderful experience! The furniture arrangement is spacious and fitting. A special note: the inside is bigger than the pictures make it seem to be. And the master bath is clean and bright and fresh. The heated fan was very nice for cold winter mornings and nights, whether we were getting out of bed or coming in from the hot tub in the freezing night air.We can't wait to come back in autumn when the leaves will changing!

We loved our stay at Red Barn Escape! From beginning to end, this was a wonderful experience. Clear directions, easy access, comfortable living space, and terrific hosts made this an incredible holiday. I would say it is as exactly described and you would never know there were visitors downstairs. Thank you to our hosts for being so responsive and providing a warm welcome. The location is also great with easy access to Asheville and surrounding sights. We hiked Catawba Falls - the Upper Falls are definitely worth the hike - and skied Hatley Point. Beautiful cabin with a great view. Mary was an excellent host, answering all communications quickly. Mary went out of her way to help us get around an unexpected road closure. The cabin is remote but not far from amenities. We were excited by a surprise visit from a bobcat! I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, mountain getaway.

We loved our stay here!! It was the perfect retreat for us while in the area for a wedding in Asheville (which was an easy drive of 24 minutes away). We enjoyed the quiet and beauty of the home. It feels brand new and has been decorated with welcoming care. The extras were appreciated: cookies, chips and coffee for us to enjoy and it was nice to not have to do a lot before checkout. Communication was easy with the owner. My husband enjoyed his time in the hot tub- very clean. And I loved having coffee on the deck with the fall views. The space was bigger than expected and we loved the comfy beds and new furniture. It was wonderful! 100% recommending to others!

I recently stayed at this cabin for the weekend, and it was absolutely fantastic. The cabin itself was spotless from top to bottom, and the attention to detail was truly impressive. The view alone was priceless—waking up to it each morning was unforgettable.The Jacuzzi was sparkling clean and perfect for relaxing. Both bathrooms were in excellent condition with great hot water pressure, and the beds were extra soft and incredibly comfortable.The location couldn’t have been better—easy to get to, yet tucked away for peace and quiet. It was just a short drive to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore, making it the perfect balance of convenience and seclusion.Overall, this cabin exceeded every expectation. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back!

we had a wonderful stay at the red barn! the home was very clean (clean enough for a 1 year old to crawl all over the place, ha!) and comfortable. Check in was very simple, minimal check out to-do list. We were welcomed with a hand written letter, fresh flowers and some snacks! Communication with the host was quick, and clear. The home was perfect for my husband, myself and our one year old son. There was a provided high-chair and pack n play as well. mattresses were very comfortable. We would book again!

This is my third stay and as always the Red Barn Escape exceeds expectations. A beautiful clean comfortable accommodation with breath taking views. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet get away with easy access to downtown Asheville.

We had the best time at this Airbnb for our girls’ weekend! The house was spotless, stylish, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Relaxing location—close to hiking and downtown Asheville. The host was responsive and made everything easy. Would definitely book again!

The accommodations are wonderful. The two bedrooms actually are more like two different living spaces. If there are two couples, you can close off a door between the two spaces and have a bedroom and bathroom all to yourselves. The kitchen is perfect for your stay with a full size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave and all you need to enjoy your stay. Beautiful views, unique fire pit location away from the house and hot tub if you're so inclined. Only one drawback. We were not aware when we booked that the owners are right underneath you. This spoiled our privacy and, if we had known about the arrangement, we probably would not have booked. But, it's really no different than staying at a bed and breakfast or hotel with people in the next room. All in all, it's a very nice place to stay.

This was one of my favorite places I have stayed. The location is wonderful, close to Asheville and the Biltmore but in the mountains in a beautiful secluded setting with amazing views. The space is modern and cozy, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. We used the hot tub on the deck every day which was so relaxing after hiking and being busy each day. There were many thoughtful touches, what wonderful hosts!

The only sad part was seeing all the work that still needs to be done in cleaning up from the hurricane. However it is very apparent that the people there are Fairview/Asheville Strong!! Mary and her family have furnished a beautiful home to stay in. There are so many details that go overlooked in other rentals, that they absolutely did not miss. From the snacks they provided, coffee, creamer, charging stations in the bedrooms for all of our devices, to the cleanliness of the bedrooms, bathrooms, I couldn’t have asked for better amenities. The hot tub was so relaxing and CLEAN. The patio was a delight to sit out on and enjoy the quiet. We never once heard them below us and hope that they didn’t hear us We were welcomed with a card and Mary kept in touch every day of our stay, and the days leading up. Very thorough instructions on how to get to the property, with pictures and everything. I’ve never experienced such wonderful hospitality. 20/10 would recommend again and again. Can’t wait to go back some day. The only thing that would have elevated the stay, and I’m stretching here, because it was just lovely, is better lighting on the deck. Maybe some Italian twinkle lights or a lantern for the table. It was very dark at night when we were enjoying the ambiance. Mary, keep up the beautiful work, your home is a true gem. Our stay was absolutely amazing. From the start being able to drive up the mountain to the home and coming into a nice setup with some goodies already displayed! This property is breathtaking from the views, to the fire pit , to the inside decor and cleanliness. Mary and family have really done a good job with this property. It is quiet and secluded and the perfect distance from downtown or any nearby attraction or winery. I would highly recommend this vrbo and host to everyone.

A friend and I took our daughters on a short trip for their sprink break, and Mary's home turned it into a mini-retreat. Just as described...probably the cleanest vrbo we've stayed at. My friend and I decided to a retreat style spring break this year to rest and reset while reconnecting with each other in nature. Asheville was a halfway point for us to meet up and we found this gem of a stay for a very reasonable price. From pre check in to after check out, Mary was available for anything we needed. We enjoyed this stay so much. The home was clean, well stocked with all stay necessities including shampoo/conditioner and body wash in the showers, and beautifully manicured private areas like the fire pit and hot tub deck. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Le Grange Rouge and the red barn for a peaceful and wonderful stay.

I have been to Asheville multiple times for an annual girls get away. This beautiful property is clean, quiet and super relaxing. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure is great and the location is private and peaceful. A morning coffee on the deck with mountain views followed by a drive into Asheville for fun activities makes for a perfect girl or couple get away. I cannot wait for next year.

VRBO perfection! This home has warmth, artful touches, fresh flowers (cut from her sweet garden), a WONDERFUL hot tub and VERY comfortable beds. I’m a short-term rental veteran and this is a real five star! Grateful!
