Rebuilt Captains Home A Couple Blocks From Town Center

The house is beautiful and well equipped. The location is fantastic - we walked to Main Street and all over the historic downtown from the house many times. Easy walk to the Wave bus terminal so you can travel to outer areas of the island. The bedrooms are split between the basement and the 2nd floor, allowing for separation (we had a 15 month old who went to bed at 7). The lower level has a very nice living area, king bedroom and a bunk room that can sleep up to 5. Had only one question for the host during the trip and received a very quick response. If we get the chance to return to Nantucket, we will certainly stay here again.

This is a top notch listing. The host is extremely responsive and helpful. Everything about the listing is accurate. All well organized, especially the fully appointed kitchen. A few blocks from town on a quiet street and quick drive to all mid island stores. I would highly recommend!

The comfortable beds, the general holiness of everything. The closeness to town was great too.

What a special place to stay! Perfect family reunion with our kids and their significant others. The house is beautiful and the pictures are very accurate (although it is bigger in person). They had everything you need right there and in a nice quiet neighborhood but just around the block from town so you can walk to everything. Highly recommend this property and spending some time in Nantucket!

Wonderful stay - second year in a row. Basement space is perfect hangout for teens/young adults. Open floor plan on the main is bright and comfortable. Feels like a home away from home.

We really enjoyed our first trip to Nantucket. Robert’s house is super close to Main Street so a quick walk to town—restaurants, shops etc.The layout is great and we really enjoyed the courtyard area. I would recommend getting a car for a couple days to explore the other areas on the island. The kitchen is well stocked and it is easy to cook a couple meals at home. Great restaurants are walking distance. Cheers!

This home is better than we even imagined! It’s so spacious and gorgeously decorated. The sweet spot is the cozy courtyard. The location could not be better- it was so nice to walk to everything in town. The host was quick to respond with any need to we had. I will stay here again!

This is our second year at 4.5 Charter. The house is gorgeous, well-appointed and sophisticated but also very comfortable for living and sleeping. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, major bonus! The house was spotless and in a prime location on a sleepy side street -an easy walk to town. I can think of no criticism for this house- it’s truly perfect but I will say: The driveway is tiny - do not bring a big car! Thank you Michael for another great stay.

We had another wonderful stay at Robert’s home. It is a beautiful house in town and convenient to everything. We will be returning for a third year and are already looking forward to it.
