Stayed Jan 12, 2026Our week-long stay at Casa Estrella every winter is the highlight of our annual trips to Santa Fe. It's a cozy home-like setting filled with artwork--a real treat for art-lovers! The casita's kitchen is well-equipped for all occasions--everything from cooking quick breakfasts to fancy gourmet dinners. It's in a charming neighborhood that's a very pleasant walk (even in winter) of a few minutes to Canyon Road, coffee, and groceries. Already looking forward to returning next year!

Stayed Sep 27, 2025Beautiful property inside and out! The gardens were so tranquil and still in bloom. Location was perfect in a very quiet secluded neighborhood, yet so close to the heart of Santa Fe. A few suggestions… the property manager should check that supplies are replenished such as garbage bags, fire starters & kindling, laundry soap, and gas tanks for the outdoor fire pit and grill before guests arrive. Although we found the managing company could be a little more responsive, they were polite and helpful. Update amenities (as we weren’t able to get Netflix, although we didn’t really need it) and instruction manual. We loved Casa Estrella, would highly recommend, and will be back!

Stayed Jul 21, 2025I loved the location , as I could take an early morning walk on Canyon without cars, as all of the galleries were closed at that time. The intimate house was very well appointed and immaculate with comfortable beds and linens. The a/c worked well. Both bedrooms had a bit of a hum from something internal to the home that kept me from having a good nights sleep. It sounded like a toilet was running, but it wasn't. I am very sensitive to sounds when trying to sleep.

Stayed Jun 25, 2025This place, satisfied everything we were looking for in Santa Fe! Tucked away on a quiet lane, yet close to everything.! We were looking for a true sanctuary for respite in between wedding activities, during our Son’s wedding week here in Santa Fe. My husband and I needed this amazing place with the beautiful gardens, zen water fountain, beautiful artwork & sculptures, and the most comfortable bed we have ever experienced! We walked to Canyon Road from here, and it was a true Historical Eastside casita, with every amenity we could ask for! We sat outside near the water feature every morning and evening. This oversized lot and gardens were magical. Butterflies & birds, outdoor sculptures….we relaxed every minute we were there! We had another couple over for a brief wine & hors d’oeuvresin the garden the night before we left. We each had our own bathrooms, as it was just my husband and myself! But two couples could stay here comfortably for sure!! We did not want to leave this place! We will be back for sure!!! We have in/laws for family here now. Can’t wait to book this sanctuary again!

Stayed Apr 14, 2025As a former resident of Santa Fe, I’m always looking for a place that makes me feel like I’m truly home. This is it! A beautiful home and yard, in a perfect tranquil hidden away spot right in the heart of Santa Fe. Quiet, peaceful, private and nice neighbors! Spotless, well appointed and the most comfortable bed! I was lucky enough to have a spring snow day spent at “home” and it was perfection. I’ll be back again. Highly recommend.

Stayed Dec 20, 2024At first I thought I would invite one of our adult children to spend Christmas with us in Santa Fe, or another couple. I decided not to and I am so glad it was just my husband and I. He used the 2nd bedroom for his clothes, naps, and had his own bathroom. I had my own bathroom and very comfortable bed with a TV. The Kiva Fireplace was AMAZING. Best vacation I've ever had. Immaculate Casita, close to everything, quiet neighborhood. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Stayed Sep 3, 2024My husband and I stayed at this charming, decadently adorned, home for five days celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. It was our first time visiting Santa Fe, and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place to stay! Casa Estrella was clean comfortable, and cozy. We loved all the beautiful works of art, inside and out! The gardens and outside sitting areas are just as beautiful as the inside…we especially enjoyed our cocktail hour under the gazebo, listening to the soothing sounds of the fountain every afternoon before we went out to dinner. We also enjoyed all the attention paid to details: like the welcome champagne and flowers, the coffee pods that were provided, the bathroom goodies, the robes. Everything made us feel pampered. We loved the location (within walking distance to Canyon Road Arts District and the local coffee bistro on Garcia), as well as the quiet neighborhood. Thank you for a lovely experience, Marilyn and Ed. We can’t wait to return!
