Meadview, Arizona
Meadview is located in Joshua Tree National Forest, between Lake Mead and the Colorado River. From our home in Meadview you have a view of the back of the Grand Canyon. Grand Canyon West (Skywalk) is about 30-40 minutes away. They have many attractions at Skywalk. Walk the glass panels on the Skywalk. Fly over the canyon in a helicopter or on a zipline. Float down the Colorado River on a river tour.
Meadview does not have a grocery store, however there is a Family Dollar, and Gas and Grub where you can get staples and some frozen food, milk, eggs and dairy. There is a small produce market outside of town Ma's Market that has fresh produce. There are 2 places to eat in town. The Boathouse has good food and Anchor Smokehouse has pizza, most nights a buffet and smoked meats. They are both good.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with pretty much everything you would need to cook a delicious meal. Pots & Pans, dishes, plates, silverware, baking pans etc. Their are a few things in the cabinets, however if you plan to cook, please be prepared with your own food. There is a coffee in the refrigerator. Creamer can be purchased at Family Dollar. (sometimes their is some there if so you are welcome to use it). There are a few spices and I try to keep some Olive Oil on hand for you to use. Also, there is pancake mix and Syrup just in case you decide to cook some breakfast. You are welcome to use anything that is there.
There is plenty of parking so your welcome to bring your boat or RV.
There is a gas BBQ on the patio. We Enjoy the Sunset as we barbeque on the patio. We leave the cushions for the patio table just inside the door to the house. The wind blows in Meadview and just don’t want them to blow away.
There is a firepit and some firewood in the yard that you are free to use. Please be respectful to the neighbors.
Excellent, spacious home in Meadview. Spotlessly clean. So many amenities--a playpen, child's bed, two kings, several queens, lots of room. It didn't have a dishwasher, but we were so busy visiting the Grand Canyon West, Grand Canyon South Rim, Las Vagas, and other places we didn't worry about the lack of a dishwasher. In fact, we even enjoyed the local cuisine at The Boathouse. My husband wanted access to CNN to watch the queen's funeral, but we were able to stream it. Probably one of the best places we've stayed.
My family and I were very comfortable staying here. Place was clean and surroundings were beautiful. Would recommend for future guests!
It was very clean and we honestly don’t feel like we could have stayed in a better place.
Wonderful stay...would stay there again for sure. Very clean and host was great at communicating with us.
Wonderful views and a clean and comfortable place to stay!
Has everything you need, beautiful view, very clean and well stocked. Having laundry available is great especially if you’re spending time at the lake. Would recommend staying here

Every aspect was five stars, from the cleanliness, to the communication to the amenities. Thanks for everything! We will be back!!
This place was more than we expected. It is very clean and organized. Very comfortable and nice location. Close to Grand Canyon West and there is a grocery store nearby. Thank you for the stay!
The property was perfect! So clean! You can tell the owner take pride in ownership. It was perfect for what we needed! If we are ever back down that way we will definitely be staying again! The owner was always very quick to get back to me about any questions I had before and during our stay! Over all great experience!!
The property was well kept, lovely, well appointed decoration. Comfortable furnishings, comfortable beds. We were supplied with many more comforts than expected. The owners/managers were great to work with. We highly recommend this property!
Everything was very nice and clean, and place was just like the photos. Rebecca was wonderful- very responsive and kind. Views were incredible and home was well appointed.
Enjoyed our stay in this super-clean and comfortable, roomy home. Had everything we needed. Check-in is easy, the host is responsive and helpful. Kitchen is very well equipped. Limited groceries available in the community. Great place to stay when visiting Grand Canyon West. The drive from Meadview is reasonable. And the Joshua Tree Forest was a unique and fun surprise.
The house was neat and clean and ready for my three guests that were visiting in Meadview. Each guest spoke highly the property and were pleased with their accommodations.
