The house was in a beautiful setting along the shores of the lake. They have an amazing lawn that overlooks the water and is great for games and hanging out. The deck off the house is a great place to watch the sunset and enjoy the lake while relaxing. I wish that the lake access had a dock because it was hard to get in and out of the water with all of the rocks. It was a nice gradual entry into the water so swimming was fun. I would suggest getting water shoes. The deck was great too, but needed more comfortable seating. Overall, the house was great and we enjoyed our stay very much.

This home is exactly as described and pictured. It's comfortable, clean and well stocked. The yard and waterfront are incomparable! Booking with Morton & Furbish is the only way to do it. So helpful to have a local office and caring staff to help out when needed. They were responsive and attentive our whole stay!

We brought together two of our adult children, spouses, and one 2 year old grandchild to celebrate New Years together in Rangeley. We have a family history of skiing at Saddleback and we're looking for a spot that would comfortably accommodate 6 adults but be close to skiing and amenities. This house has everything we hoped for: comfortable rooms and beds, a real fireplace stocked with wood, seating for all, and a view of the lake that took our breath away. The fact that they are pet friendly sealed the deal for our Brittany Spaniel who loved running on the expansive lawn. We'll be back!

Nice spot for our family. Deck area and the large lawn great spaces to watch the sunsets, play frisbee and have a fire. Easy access to launch the kayaks. Only drawbacks are for the price, would hope to have some more comfortable furniture in the family room and a few more seats too either there or in the open space on the second floor. The house could definitely use a dehumidifier. Another kayak too would be great as the house is large it would likely have several guests wanting to get out on the lake. We would certainly go there again if it fits our schedule in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fox Hollow Lodge. We had three generations under the roof and having all the different bedrooms and living spaces was really beneficial. The amenities were really nice - the house itself is very open, inviting, and comfortable. The only reason I'm not giving the place 5 stars is that the downstairs living room area is not furnished at all, so my daughter and her husband had to use camping chairs after they put my grandson down to sleep for the night. Some of the fixtures could use some updating, but for a week on the lake everything was great. Some of the outside space was really unusable because of all the goose droppings. There was a fence by the lakeshore, but the geese had figured out how to circumvent that and were all over the beautiful lawn. Needless to say, we couldn't bring our grandson or our little dog onto the lawn, which was disappointing. But again, for us it was okay. I would highly recommend this rental to large families.

The home was very spacious and accommodated our large family. There was only two items that we had an issue with. one was the gas grill which didn't work and the other was the jacuzzi which also didn't work. The team from the leasing agency did bring a replacement for the grill but that also didn't work. Overall it was a wonderful lake house and would recommend it to any large family.

The Fox Hollow Lodge had an ideal location with just a 2 minute drive into town and being right on the water. The sprawling lawn and big deck set up for beautiful sunset views each night. The house was a little dated but nothing that hindered our experience -- it's really large and very comfortable. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved the location being so close to Saddleback and the Trail Center. The property is large and spacious and we took advantage of playing outside in the snow. The house had plenty of bedrooms and baths so we could spread out. We would definitely rent again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Fox Hollow Lodge. The large lawn was great for our two young kids to run around and play. It was easy to walk in and out of the water. Each day, we were greeted by a cute duck family. The lofted play area had some books and toys in addition to the ones we brought. We loved eating dinner out on the deck and watching the sunsets. I would recommend revamping the kitchen supplies of plates, bowls and some cook wear for those of us that cooked all of our meals at home. They had every kind of wine and cocktail glass under the sun, which would be great for a get-together of mostly adults. We love the area and plan on coming back next year. Morton and Furbish did an excellent job of contactless check in and check out and made the place nice and clean.
