Stayed Jan 3, 2026Great location, very close to the Penneshaw ferry, IGA, and local eating places. The house was comfortable and suited our stay well.A few improvements would make it even better. The house could benefit from more thorough internal cleaning, as we noticed spider webs and did some cleaning ourselves. Installing fly screens on the front and rear doors would greatly improve ventilation and allow guests to enjoy the fresh breeze.There is also quite a lot of extra furniture, which makes the house feel a bit congested. Some delicate decorative items are nice, but they can be a concern for families with young children due to the risk of accidental damage.Overall, a good place to stay with an excellent and convenient location.

Stayed Sep 17, 2024Photos are way out of date and do not reflect the current poor condition of the property. Externally, both front and rear are in desperate need of a cleanup. Internally, maintenance is also needed in a host of areas, from leaky taps, to broken blinds, dodgy sliding door locks, a ceiling water leak and unsatisfactory cleaning standard. I can provide photos. We all agree that this property is being misrepresented on-line in your ads.

Stayed Dec 28, 2022Well situated in Penneshaw SA with great layout for couples with separate facilities. Everything you need is supplied. Very clean with very comfortable beds. Hosts were terrific, gave us some great tips for what to do and see.

Stayed Oct 4, 2021Comfortable house, everything we needed, quiet location. The hosts were very helpful when our travel had to be changed when the ferries were stopped by gale force winds. They made practical suggestions to help find alternatives suggesting contacting KIC. I’m looking forward to staying again.

Stayed Mar 27, 2021Really comfortable property in a nice quiet location. The place was clean and well appointed. Penneshaw is a convenient place to stay with it's proximity to the ferry and this is nice accommodation to use as a home base for looking around KI.

Stayed Mar 8, 2021Convenient location a few minutes from the centre of town, the sculpture walk, coffee shops and ferry wharf. Cosy and comfortable house. Well equipped kitchen. Parking for 3 cars. Perfect for a 4 day stay with friends sightseeing.
