Our stay was a girls weekend, 6 of us! We were very comfortable! We felt at home in this beautiful lake home. We did not want to leave! I highly recommend this beautiful place. We hope we can visit again!
The house and property are more beautiful than the pictures show. There are several living spaces, good-sized kitchen, and a great firepit with seating. We also enjoyed the canoeing and beautiful view. It was a lovely stay. Our only complaint is that there is no AC, and the house got very hot. They suggest you keep the blinds down during the day, but the best part of the house is the view, and when you're there getting away from the city, you don't want to spend the day staring at blinds when you could be looking out at the lake. But other than the lack of AC, this was a wonderful home. Would highly recommend!
What a great home and property! We had a total of 9 people in our group and we all had a great time. Your home is located in a nice quiet location with a great view of the lake! We enjoyed time in the screened jn porch and at the fire pit! The check-in and check-out processes were very easy! Would definitely recommend and stay again!
No air conditioning, no TV, no need for either. We made lasting family memories at this beautiful home. We boated and walked over to the sand beach. Kids played all day. Did not want to leave. Canoed up the river. Wanted to go back at dawn to see if any moose were there. Had fires, and made great meals. Celebrated a birthday with pie of course! ☺️ Dishwasher needs attention. We washed by hand and prefer that anyway. Good one on one chat time. Your home gave our family a gift. Quality time together.
Our stay was filled with fun and adventure. Hikes, paddling, exploring and family time. The Raspberry Bay home is well appointed, and the view is better than the photos. We loved the screen porch and spent a lot of our game time there. The home is beautiful, and very comfortable. We will be back!
I stayed here with a group of friends and we had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is just as pictured and a great gathering space. All the details were provided for and we had access to more than everything we needed to make our stay excellent. The house and area were so quiet and we got to really enjoy the sights and sounds of nature outside our door. My only complaint is our stay was too short, and we didn't have a chance to get the canoes out.
Beautiful home right on the shores of Lake Superior. If you love water and nature this is a great home to get away from it all. Well equipped and lots of room to relax and share time with friends and family.
For our family of 7, including 2 young ones, it was our retreat of one room to the next of family space or personal space. No real beach space but we waded along the shoreline in this quaint bay finding rocks to skip or throw. We loved the closet of board games and spaces to play. The place was close to so many attractions. Truth be told I worry if others find out about our gem it will get harder to reserve our trip to this beautiful retreat next year!
This home is about 11 miles north of Bayfield, WI. It has 5 bedrooms nicely separated from each other, one on the main floor, two on the lower level and two on the upper level. There is a full bath on each floor with a half bath on the main floor. This arrangement was perfect for our group of adults. The kitchen is very well equipped and works well for several cooks. The three areas to gather were very nice--main floor, lower level & a large very nice screened porch. We enjoyed a kayaking trip to the sea caves from Meyers Beach, a bike ride to the state park on Madeline Island, a cruise around the Apostle Islands, and a concert in town. It was a very relaxing vacation and perfect for a group who wanted to spend time together. A wonderful week!!
We had an unbelievable couple of days/nights! Canoeing, decompressing, swimming, fishing, eating - repeat. Owners were above and beyond accommodating - so thankful that we were fortunate to stay here. Great kitchen - stocked. We were only 5 - could have certainly accommodated another family but this was a last minute find for us and it was perfect!
What a gem on our favorite lake. Extremely clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Sleeping quarters were comfortable & squeaky clean. Surrounded by the beauty of nature. Thank you!
We enjoyed our visit. Nice quiet area, beautiful scenery and we had a good time. Thank you. You have a wonderful home.
We enjoyed our stay. I am giving 5 stars because I loved it.
