Stayed Sep 15, 2025The house was spotless, the property was very private and the location was perfect. The property manager was really nice. She promptly answered our questions. We chose this property because we could take our dogs and it worked out great. The lake is clear and has a firm bottom. The water gets deeper gradually which was perfect for the dogs to walk around in and would be good for kids. I enjoyed their row boat and used our own kayaks. Every time I went out on the lake I saw the loons! The birds and chipmunks were entertaining on the deck! We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Aug 16, 2025Location and layout of cabin were great. Loved the beautiful view & deck (gated on both ends for dogs). Easy access to lake-fishing was amazing.Basement not setup as shown. Beds were uncomfortable. Need new saute pans/clean oven mitts. Sample size toiletries not sufficient when advertised toiletries included. Need more toilet paper and trash bags stocked if included as noted. Great location in relation to the local bars going to Boulder or Presque Isle. Aside from the few negatives listed, we had a great time and again, loved the views and easy access to the lake.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025The house was perfect size. Excellent layout, bathrooms and kitchen were really nice. Very comfortable. The lake was exceptional. Lakeshore area really great for young kids. Loons and eagles everyday!The only thing that would've made it better would've been to have more hand towels, washcloths in the kitchen. There were only two! We stayed for a week and ate in every meal.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025This stay was nice for a family of 6 adults and 1 toddler (and our dogs). We really enjoyed the dock and lake. We rented a boat to use and tied it to the dock. The beach area is pretty nice too! It’s an older house but it has everything you need to cook and enjoy your time! The deck provides a great relaxation area with plenty of seating and lake view.

Stayed Jun 8, 2025This is a great place to stay, very clean! Could use a little upgrades on the grill and couple other items I let the property manager know about, which she was great, very responsive! We had six adults and dogs, the cabin fitted us well. The fishing was okay, but the weather compromised it a couple days. We caught several smallies, my son caught a 16” small mouth!!! We rented a fishing boat from Lynx lake lodge, which they are wonderful people and while fishing other places than the dock we encountered a few muskie!!!! The water is so clear that you could see them come to the bait! Overall, great place, we would definitely come back!!!!

Stayed Dec 26, 2024This house is in a beautiful spot, with great access to local hiking/snowshoeing. Well appointed, the house has everything needed for a pleasant stay and plenty of space for our group of two couples.
