This place was really magical. The attention to every single detail was off the charts. If I could rate this property 6 stars I would. Clean, comfortable, well appointed, so many little charming surprises. I was blown away. Thank you so much for everything. Truly a perfect place.

Quint little place in the wood with short drive to everything Bayfield has to offer. The place is nicely done with a retro kitchen that has a candy machine! Love it! Someone mentioned about the spotty Wi-Fi connection, we figured out you get better speed in the kitchen. If you can’t part with your devices during your stay, you know where you can stay.😁

We enjoyed our weeklong stay at Goodnight Irene -- an expansive space with cozy nooks to read book, play a game, have a snack. Contemporary cabin vibe with fun touches. Perfect for a couples get away -- good also if you have a small child or two. Two queen beds and a daybed -- all in the same sleeping space. Pet friendly. Two small, under-counter fridges, and a counter-top ice maker. Two-burner stove, but no oven. The only VRBO I've ever encountered with a stocked candy machine! (Free!)

This is a beautiful and thoughtfully designed space in an excellent location. Beds are comfy and kitchen is well stocked. We appreciated the kind extras like a gift card to the nearby brewery and gift bags for our kiddos. Our only issue is that the brightness of the space made bedtime challenging for little ones. Some curtains would help provide darkness when needed.

Darling unit - bigger than it looks from photos. We loved all the decor, and the gift bag for our son and mugs for grown-ups was such a sweet touch. Mattresses were comfortable, everything was very clean. WiFi wasn't always very strong. Overall, we loved it and would stay again!

Everything was thoughtful and very clean. So many kind things for the guests. Couldn't have had a better experience.

Property owners thought of everything. Such a sweet place. Loved the outdoor space for puzzles, cards, wine. Our little dog loved it too.

So many little details make this such a charming place to stay! The kitchen had everything we needed and so much more. I loved the touches like microwave popcorn, several tvs, movie videos to choose from, games to play, and relatively close to town-- only a few minutes drive. The only thing that prevents it from being perfect is that there is no place to hang up your cloths. Otherwise, LOVED IT!

This property exceeded my expectations and was great for a weekend stay for our family of 4. It was very clean and wonderful for kids. The owner and host are responsive and excellent at what they do.

Beautiful and comfortable home close to downtown Bayfield which was perfect for my Mom, my dog and me. Plenty of space for us inside as well as outside to walk the dog. The owners were very quick to respond to a special request we had while we were staying there, and we really appreciated their kindness. I would definitely stay here again.

Good night Irene is the property of your dreams. Clean, quiet, close to everything. Couldn’t ask for more. We really enjoyed our stay. We travel with an electric fry pan and found it really helpful here.

Good Night Irene is a perfect space for a family vacation. Quiet, clean and located minutes from downtown Bayfield and the golf course. Easy access to hop in car and explore all the small towns nearby. Less than 30 minutes from Meyer’s Beach. Patio was perfect for an evening fire and view of the stars. Beds were comfortable, enough space in the fridge for leftovers and some basics like milk, eggs, butter. We ate out for most meals and enjoyed morning coffee at the adventure center 1 min away. All of the finishing touches, including fresh flowers throughout the space were above and beyond.

The owners of this Airbnb thought of everything for our stay in Bayfield. This is nicely appointed and it had everything we could possibly need or want. Right down to a gift certificate to the local coffee shop and homemade dog biscuits for our pup. It’s located just a short five minutes from downtown Bayfield in a really nice quiet location. Loved every moment of our stay!

Had everthing we needed plus a whole lot not expected! The interior has so many cute furnishings with lots of hidden surprises that our 8 year old granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed. Washer dryer combo in case you needed it. Liked that the kitchen and bathroom area could be closed off by a door as I am an early riser so did not disturb the rest of our crew. Host was right there if needed. The icemaker was nice since there is just a mini frig. Nice reading nook if others are watching TV or playing one of the many board games available. Two outside seating areas were convenient.Close to town.

Best aBnB/Vrbo experience so far, everything was immaculate, and all the little touches made it better than a hotel; sun screen, bug repellent, dog bowl, dog treats, coffee shop gift card, and many other touches provided by host. On,h thing that could have been better was a fullsize frig.

The stay was great, and the hosts were exceptionally accommodating. It worked very well for the two of us and a dog, and the unit could certainly entertain more. The hosts go above and beyond on the housewarming touches and helpfulness via messaging communications. Would recommend!

I would absolutely stay here again! It was so beautiful and they have thought of every detail to ALL age groups! The weather was a little gloomy, rainy and cold while we were there but it didn’t matter because we knew we had a safe warm place to come home too! The first night we got there we enjoyed the outdoor area with our kids. We played games and had a little fire going in the fire table! It was much needed family time and we were so blessed to be able to have that at this home! Don’t pass this home up! You will not regret staying here one bit! Cute place & perfect spot. Just right outside of Bayfield. Walked on some trails, took a boat cruise, walked everywhere in Bayfield to shop & eat. Had a very enjoyable time this time of year.🍁

This cottage is lovely! Cute and comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond to be welcoming, even leaving treats for my dog. I look forward to returning soon.

We were pleasantly surprised from the very first step into this cottage. All the added little touches to make you feel right at home. Also the nice little added gifts we found in the kitchen from Rich. You won’t be disappointed when you rent Goodnight Irene. Will definitely rent again.

This place was very cute and comfortable. There were a lot of nice touches and the beds were comfortable. The location was great for mountain biking and access to Howl, etc. Three items made our stay less than perfect: 1) The metal roof is very noisy with any wind or weather even with a fan running and 2) The sheets and towels were very scented with a scent that made us both nauseated. Would be better to have unscented laundry products. 3) No freezer- so if you travel with a cooler and cold packs you are out of luck.

Host were wonderful. The space was welcoming and comfortable. Perfectly located just out of town but close enough. Will definitely return! Thank you!!

Perfect little spot just a little bit outside of Bayfield - location was perfect for going in to Bayfield or for excursions to some of the wineries/cideries and farms nearby. Place was perfect size, included a small kitchen where we were able to cook one of the nights. Overall wonderful!

Nice little spot tucked into the hills beside Bayfield. It seemed to be a converted shed and was creatively designed and decorated. Quirky and surprising! True to the lake-adjacent locale (the lake is not right there but close enough), the place smelled “beachy.” Check in was easy, and we felt at home. We did have a weird encounter with a dog that seemed to reside in the adjacent space, who was unleashed and growled and barked at us as we tried to get in one night. He didn’t bite anyone but it was intimidating. If you’re squeamish around aggressive dogs you might want to stay elsewhere, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

Quaint cottage with so much attention to detail it immediately makes you feel right at home. This place is close to a lot of the amenities Bayfield has to offer but you still feel like you are tucked away in a quiet secluded space. The Howl brewery is a short drive or doable walk from the cabin and the hosts were so thoughtful giving us a gift card for a beer. It is also dog friendly and our dog was thrilled with the treats left for him. The attention to detail with the thoughtful gifts and the decor inside as well as outside are like no other place I have stayed in Bayfield before and I have stayed at many. I would highly recommend Goodnight Irene as a place to stay while in Bayfield. Rich and Marian were fantastic hosts, I cannot wait to return.
