    Wonderful for a family. It’s a remodeled older property in good condition. Lacks (required) whole house air exchanger so with seven people the bedrooms become very stuffy…must open windows. Overall it is quiet (5)3 next-door construction site is inactive.) It quite clean, but the paint is a little rough and the occasional escutcheon is missing, but we were generally happy.

    This home has a fully-equipped kitchen - coffee makers, electric tea kettle, cooking equipment and utensils. There is a great view from the living room and terrace.

    The house was comfortable and had a nice view through a wall of two-story-tall windows. The kitchen was well supplied. There were two ways to make coffee, with plenty of ground coffee and Keurig pods. The office off the main bedroom came in handy (but with a low ceiling, we bumped our heads a few times). A few things disappointed us. First, there was construction going on next door, just feet from the entrance, and this wasn’t mentioned in the listing or in any communication with the host. Second, a foul odor arose in the upstairs bathroom whenever the downstairs shower was used. We solved this problem by turning on the fan and closing the door. The host was apologetic, but nothing could be done about it during our stay over a holiday weekend. Finally, the backyard furniture was a little worse for the wear. It could have used a good cleaning. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite these issues. The host was very communicative and we appreciated that.

    This little house turned out to be a hidden gem—literally. Tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac, it felt totally secluded and peaceful, yet we were minutes from everything.The patio was a favorite spot for morning coffee with an amazing view. The shower was easily one of the best we had all trip—strong water pressure, plenty of hot water, and the kind of experience that makes you consider redoing your own bathroom. The AC kept us cool during one of the hotter weeks of the year, and the kids were thrilled to unwind with the PS5 after long days out.All in all, a perfect LA base camp. Would definitely stay here again—especially now that we know where to find it!
