Stayed Jul 1, 2023Initially we had a problem as at the last moment we were asked for a large CASH deposit, not mentioned on booking etc. Card not acceptable, VRBO were useless in sorting this out. The write-up also mentions the owners speak English, don't rely on this (we learnt this when trying to sort out the issue above. The Gite was very clean and modern and great for walking into town, seaside etc. The owners also stayed next door (attached) for several days, which again was not mentioned. The garden is good for children to play although the BBQ has seen better days and we decided not to use it in case it broke, disappointing as we love to cook outside on holiday. The Gite is located down a short gate and has a security gate which is great if you did have any worries. The property is set back from the road and very quiet.
