Quiet, Charming Lake Front Home with Kayaks, 2 Guest Maximum

The husband and I would not have changed a thing. What a gem! Every little detail of our stay was carefully prepared for and we are so grateful to Julie and her husband for taking such pride in providing their guest with a carefree and relaxing experience. Hot tub was fresh and clean, bed was clean and very comfortable, the whole property was well manicured, the AC worked great etc...We stayed there mid October and the leaves were just beginning to change color. We will definitely be going back if we're able. Kudos to the Smarts!

Amazing lake home!! Quiet area. The dock, with a porch swing, was amazing. Enjoyed early mornings sitting on the dock and watching the geese fly in and swimming around!! Right outside of Hot Springs, about 10 minutes, with easy access to everything. Will definitely go back. The hosts were excellent. They made sure we had their contact information to reach them if any issues or questions arose.

It was a beautiful, quiet and private property. We enjoyed the hot tub and lake dock with a swing and chairs. It was very clean and nicely decorated.

We had a lovely time. When we weren’t out enjoying the sights and activities of the area we were sitting on the dock enjoying the water and sun. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. The fish were jumping all around us as we sat on the dock so if you enjoy fishing bring your poles and tackle.The hot tub in the evening under the moon and stars was amazing. Robert and Julie are the best hosts! They live nearby, so are readily available in case anything was amiss (which it wasn’t!) Their home and grounds are clean and immaculate. They were friendly and very helpful with directions, check-in, instructions, and suggestions. We hope to be back some day. It was peaceful, relaxing, and romantic. PS - the path down to the lake is a short and gentle slope.

This is a very nice place stay very clean privacy is great hot tube on back deck overlooking the lake. Very nice walk way leading to the boat dock even has couple kayak to use. Kitchen has everything you may need if you wanted to cook. Highly recommend for a week getaway

So comfortable and quiet with all of the amenities to help you feel like you're at home without the stresses of everyday life! The lake is gorgeous as well, and everything you want to do in Hot Springs is 15-20 minutes away! The proprietors of the property are professional and kind and readily available for any issues. Highly recommend!

Quiet and located in peaceful surroundings. About a 20-minute drive to Hot Springs downtown area where restaurants, bars, and other activities are available. We were there for the St. Patrick's Day festivities, and had a great time. Hosts are very nice and responsive.

Great little place! It was soooo cold during our stay but the house stayed so warm! That also made the hot tub an extra special treat! Excellent communication with the host. Mrs. Smart was very accommodating. The lake was very low this time of year. The views were great. Would definitely stay again if making a trip to the area!

This was the perfect couples fall getaway. The house is cute and cozy and the views are absolutely gorgeous. We sipped coffee and watched the water each morning from loungers or the hot tub. It was very quiet this time of year with so many stunning autumn views! We told the hosts that it was our anniversary, and they left us a bottle of wine with a thoughtful happy anniversary card. Just the sweetest. They also have a list of great recommendations for restaurants that we were grateful for and the drive to downtown Hot Springs took us no time. We loved this little place and the kindness of the hosts.

Once again an incredible stay! Easy check in, curb appeal, seclusion from the road, the list goes on. One of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. Home is comfortable, has a great view from living room and deck. Host are great and accommodating. Will definitely be back! Loved our girls trip to relax and do some shopping downtown.

It was a nice quiet an relaxing!

It was a perfect weekend getaway! It was so quiet and peaceful. We loved spending time on the pier on the swing and in the hot tub. We brought enough food for our stay thank goodness because we ended up never leaving the house until check out. The house was perfect and felt right at home. The owners were great at communicating and very accommodating. We loved our stay here and we were not ready to leave!

This property was just as it was advertised! Clean, cozy and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub in the morning and the evening. We fished and caught Bream! Deer visited us in the yards and the humming birds were abundant! Would definitely go back.

The house was completely immaculate upon arrival. The entire property was as advertised.Julie & Roger emptied and refilled the hot tub between us and the previous guests. That was a detail my spouse and I hadn’t even thought of, but was extremely appreciated. My spouse and I also took full advantage of the provided kayaks. We enjoyed them so much, we’re looking into getting some kayaks of our own. 10/10 would definitely stay again. Thank you Julie & Roger for being phenomenal hosts!

Very relaxing, had everything we needed to grill, cook, etc. hot tub was great-and felt very private off back deck. Bed was comfy-loved the pillows! Would definitely stay again!!

This was a beautiful property on the lake, even better than the pictures. It was decorated so lovely and was so peaceful inside and out. Whether watching the hummingbirds and squirrels from the deck, reading on the patio or sitting/fishing on the dock, it was thoroughly relaxing. The hot tub was great after daily hikes in the area. We appreciated all the local information provided. Our favorite hikes were at Lake Ouachita and Lake Catherine State Parks. The hosts were great at communicating. If we only lived closer, we'd be back often.

This vacation was amazing! The house was perfect. We were very comfortable and relaxed. The location is perfect - far enough from people yet close enough for sightseeing and errands. We woke up and went to sleep with the first and last thing of our day being fishing from the boat dock. Communicating with the hostess was easy and accurately helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here - as we will the next time we visit Hot Springs!

We had a wonderful stay. No problems at all. Love to come back some day. So relaxing to use the hot tub. Kayaks were nice also. Water was a little cool at first but got used to it quickly. Nothing to complain about.

The property is beautiful with the lake directly behind us, pretty floral landscaping, easy walk down to the dock for swimming, fishing, or just relaxing in the swing on the dock and watching the sun go down. I need to give Whisker’s restaurant a shout out as well for an easy place to get take out very close to the property. I hope to rent again!

My husband and I had the best time at this lovely property. Tbe house was clean and beautifully decorated with every amenity we needed. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, kayaking, and fishing right from the dock! This property helped us have the perfect vacation.

Everything you need to relax either inside or outside. Observed wildlife, caught fish, and relaxed watching a movie during a rainstorm. My husband and I stayed the weekend for our anniversary. We were greeted with a card and bottle of wine. The host was prompt at answering questions and keeping us informed about check in. The property was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed fishing off the bank and having our morning quiet time in the back yard. The home was clean and comfortable. We would love to come back!

This was one of, if not THE, cleanest rental we have every stayed in. Communication with the owners was great! The location could not be beat. We spent at least two hours every morning sitting on the dock having coffee and watching the geese, ducks, and bald eagle on the lake. It was the perfect getaway for our anniversary. We absolutely loved this place! It’s simple and beautiful. We could retire in this home! The hosts are amazing!!!!! The day before we were scheduled to arrive there was a huge thunderstorm that flooded their dock and caused damage. They spent all the next day (our arrival date) repairing and cleaning the dock and property for our arrival. We would have totally understood if the dock wouldn’t be able to use during our stay but I was. They are clearly special people with a special place to stay. Book Now!

My friend and I had an amazing time at the lake house. The setting is perfect, the deck is so relaxing with the hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet and great location just minutes from Malvern Rd.
