This is a nice place if quiet and clean is what you are looking for. It is walkable to town but we didn’t opt to walk as temps were frigid the week we stayed.

This was a very nice stay. We were provided with everything we needed. Place was clean, we had our own parking. Whiteface Ski is 20 min away, downtown LP is only a two minute drive. Lights above the sink didnt work (or we never found the switch). The Glade plug-ins were overwhelming, but thats just my opinion. Upstairs bed was super-comfortable! Nice shower stall too.

Great place to stay! Short walk to the shopping strip. Easy access, had everything we needed for the weekend. We were in town for Worlds Synchronized skating competition. It’s was so nice not to have to worry about parking all weekend.

I really liked the place it was a nice little getaway for us and the dogs. All of the towels and linens, toilet paper and paper towels were provided which was nice along with the kitchen stocked and we were able to make full use of it. I thought the No ac would be an issue but with the windows open and a fan it was actually comfortable especially since the weather in lake placid isn’t too hot. Overall, it was a good place we had a great time and would definitely go again

There are many nice things about this rental. The apartment is well furnished, and the location is good provided that you are up for a 4 block steep up and down climb to reach Main St. There were many thoughtful touches such as a full complement of toiletries and necessities in the bathroom, and a fairly well-furnished kitchen. It is private and quiet. The decor is actually a bit nicer than the photos suggest, and the walls are full of autographed Winter Olympic team posters. The mudroom at the entrance is convenient when transitioning from ski or hiking gear, and there is plenty of room for storage. While most of the apartment was clean, the inside of the refrigerator, the stove top, the hood and the toaster oven did not seem to have been cleaned in quite some time (and we are not clean freaks). The kitchen table is tiny and barely sufficed for two at meals, and would not work for 4. There were a few other items needing attention, such as two lightbulbs out in ceiling fixtures in the main room and a wooden chair whose arms were coming off and required reglueing, and the oven door would not close fully. While we received an advance welcome email from the host, there was no communication on arrival or any other communication during our stay, although she responded promptly when we sent a message at departure listing things that needed fixing. We'd stay again in future, but a little more attention to upkeep would make this a 5-star instead of a 4-star rental.

Great little apartment in Lake Placid within walking distance to downtown. Just be warned, a lot of hills if you are walking.

nicely decorated, physical layout of the apartment was a little weird, a couple banged heads on the upstairs. convenient to downtown. Great autographed pictures of Olympic athletes. I appreciate that they allow dogs. would do it again!

Tucked away in the back of the village against the woods for a nice quiet and cozy stay. Host has thought of most anything you would need (or could forget) and makes sure you are set up to enjoy your visit.

Cozy apartment style setting. Off street parking and a yard for our dog to romp around in. Lots of quiet side streets to walk our dog. Had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.

This cute apartment was clean. Bed was super comfortable. Bathroom was perfect. Futon was very comfortable to sit on. It is dimly lit. Unfortunately it rained a lot of the time , so the downstairs had a musty smell and damp. There were plug in air fresheners but they were overpowering .

We loved this quiet abode! It was the perfect location for us. It had everything we needed - I really appreciated the toothbrush as I discovered at 8 am I left my electronic toothbrush on the hotel sink the day before! Celeste was awesome! We texted in route that we were going to be early and she was so accommodating. We love Placid and this location was perfect - close to the village and close to the lax fields! We would stay again!! Thanks so much!

A great inexpensive place to stay. They weren’t kidding about the hill to get to the Main Street, but it builds character! Looks better in real life than the pictures online. We will be back
