We enjoyed our stay here. The house was very cute and cozy. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans though. Plus the dishwasher leaked so we had to do the dishes by hand the whole time we were there. But overall the week was good.

The building is great as long as you do not take the time to look too hard. The details are what make a great place great. The details of the farm are not the greatest. Upon arrival I could not get in touch with anyone or a representative. I arrived early just so as to not have this problem. I left for an hour and still could not get in touch with anybody. I needed to speak to a representative because the code for the door did not work. Once I actually got in the door, because they had to supposedly open it remotely, we found the place to be light and airy. We finally got all out luggage situated, sat down to let the problems of the road fall away and then found that the TV had no sound . Called out again to the rep, back and forth for an hour and a half. No positive results. 3 days with no sound on a 70 something inch tv. We could watch in the room, while sitting on the bed. That was not an ideal situation. I was in Tennessee for a heart surgery.I found the building to be drafty and almost impossible to heat or cool. The neighbors or people who were there also renting were exceptionally, exceptionally, nosey and physically probing making it VERY hard to be relaxed.I will not be renting with COMPASS Properties again by choice.

My husband and I met my parents here for 3 nights. It had a wonderful place to hang out in the living area. The beds were comfortable! The fancy tub was nice to just relax for a moment. The space is fantastic and we were very pleased that we found The Farmhouse for our visit.

This is the first time I’ve booked a property and I had an amazing experience. The house and veiws were spectacular, especially with the snow we had. The biggest issue we faced was when the thermostat’s battery died, and the temp was stuck at 62. The host reached out very quickly and began working to help me fix the issue, even though it was late on Friday night. They even ordered a second space heater to make sure we were warm enough. My friends and I throughly enjoyed the entire property and were all impressed with how quickly the host responded to us,whenever we had questions. This was the perfect local spot to celebrate my birthday with my favorite people. The home was better then we could imagine, and we are already trying to plan a return trip!

The property was very nice and secluded- exactly what we were looking for to have some quiet time away. There were a few areas that could be improved, however. The main area is the cleanliness- the bedding on 2 of the 3 beds appeared to be used with *many* strands of hair and dirt on them, the oven looked pretty bad also- we chose not to use it because of the condition, and there was also a used razor and event bracelet left in the shower from someone else before we got there. In addition to that, it could use some general improvements also- various holes in the walls/doors of the bedrooms, the trim around the shower was coming off, the sofas had some significant wear, and one appeared to be broken. This property really has the potential to be incredible, it just needs some TLC and legitimate deep cleaning done between guests. We’d love to recommend this to other family/friends from out of town once those items are taken care of.

The Farm at Deer Crossing This is a beautiful property that was at one time well maintained but is starting to show signs of decline. Outdoor patio furniture dirty and weathered behind use. On our arrival indoors we quickly saw broken furniture and high traffic touch surfaces that had not been cleaned. We cleaned some immediate issues while trying to contact the rental manager. Having to communicate only through the VRBO app was not convenient. The appliances, oven, toaster oven, coffee maker were all very dirty. The rim of the kitchen sink has mildew buildup. The freezer was dirty, had old, open and partially used ice bags and other littered packaging. The cleaning issues were addressed but not until the following day. The linens did not fit the beds appropriately, fitted sheets coming off, and all showed signs of wear. Early one morning we were startled to see two sheriffs vehicles flying away from the house down the driveway. They had come from the back of the property which had multiple buildings that were not secured from access. This was a little concerning to us. We will not choose this location again.

This home is simply magnificent… the property is huge, so our kids roamed wide, with regular deer visits for an early morning coffee. The only (very minor) issue was that the grills had not been cleaned, and were tucked away at the back end of the house so I had to go looking for them - but again, that is such a minor thing considering just how absolutely wonderful this experience was. Visiting Nashville, but being able to escape the bustling energy of downtown for this peaceful and soul-restoring quiet retreat was a real treasure for our large family. We will definitely be back!
