Quandary Estate Home: Luxurious, Breathtaking Views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice stay. For the money we spent, we were disappointed with how many things weren’t working for us. That said, the management group was very responsive and did their best to accommodate. It was just disappointing to have to deal with things like the shower not working in the master bedroom. You would’ve thought that something like that would’ve been noticed by the cleaning crew. Both microwaves weren’t working. No cleaning supplies to clean the floor from our dirty shoes. Broken Dyson vacuum downstairs. Driveway not cleared very well. The property was beautiful but I wouldn’t recommend only because of all the issues we had to deal with. I was willing to pay as much as we did expecting everything to be perfect. Unfortunately it wasn’t.

Summit rentals is awful. They will text you back but won’t fix anything. The house has a lot of small things that need worked on. Internet was never consistent. missed two day of work. Microwave doesn’t fit the dishes. Beds upstairs falling apart. Backdoor lock doesn’t work. No propane in the grill. Definitely not what you would expect from a premium property.

Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for five days for my family The house was very nice, with a great location, not too far from the city and ski area.We prefer not to eat out, and the kitchen had all the necessary appliances. We cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, and the heater in the house was very easy to set. There were extra electric heaters in each room. The balcony had a great view, and my grandkids enjoyed playing with the snow. Also, there was a grill where we made steak and burgers. The outdoor jacuzzi was very nice for our older kids to enjoyWe had a wonderful vacation, and I will definitely recommend this house

The property description is very accurate. The property was spotless upon arrival and in excellent condition. It is a short drive (less than 10 min) into Breck and the south gondola lot. We were initially concerned about this aspect, but it is not an issue at all. Especially considering the comfort of the property at the end of the day. I don't typically write reviews about products or companies but I have to mention Summit Mountain Rentals. The customer service received from SMR was so impressive. Every person I communicated with was friendly, courteous and professional. Check-in and check-out are effortless and I received an unobtrusive text to check our satisfaction with the property shortly after settling in for our stay. I highly recommend both the property and the management company!

We loved it! It was cozy and inviting, clean, close to Breckenridge but quiet enough to enjoy nature. A fox was in the yard one afternoon and we saw a moose early one morning. Amazing views of the mountains! Great communication with host team and they attended to service call quickly when we had a beeping smoke detector that we couldn’t reach. Hope to bring a few more friends to stay again next fall!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the Quandary Estate was lovely except for the house keeping as we arrived was very poor. A cleaning rag was left in the rafters, the main master suite had no window coverings at all and was open to the main deck. So absolutely no privacy. Summit has been very good in our ten years of experiences, but this was very disappointing and until corrections are made, they should not rent the home. I would only recommend this property when all maintenance items are complete.
