We were first to arrive in our group and I could not unlock the combination box to be able to open the front door. Fortunately one of the sliding doors was unlocked and we got in that way. The house was beautiful! Very nicely appointed and clearly the owners were very thoughtful about the needs of vacationers the provided us with many places to hang things (coats, hats etc.) and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and pots and pans. There is plenty of room for our three vehicles to park and for our dogs to run and play outside. We were somewhat familiar with the area because we had stayed on Booth Lake before but it wasn't as nice as this location. It was quiet and very relaxing with lots of summer furniture in the closed in patio for us to use when it was sunny and plenty outdoor seating on the veranda. We stayed 8 days and loved every one of them. Thank you so much for making our vacation great.
Need to advise folks ahead of time that the longish drive way is pretty narrow with steep drop-offs on both sides and is extremely difficult, when driving a F-250 truck and pulling a duck boat, to maneuver... from turning onto the driveway to getting turned around once at the top... especially at night. Another note, there are two combo locks at the front door... the combo provided DOES NOT go to the lock on the door... it goes to the lock mounted on the door frame. Vacasa folks knew nothing about the cabin. The TV in the master bedroom is NOT Wi-Fi capable as advertised. You need to bring EVERYTHING you might need, which is extremely difficult when traveling... The only consumables provided was soaps & toilet paper. So, stop by the wonderful Trig's everything store on your way in. They too have great pre-made meals, at a great price, otherwise you could spend too much money on stocking the fridge on condiments... and salt & pepper. Notes all around providing info... except the info we seemed to need... again, Vacasa was USELESS as far as being helpful to how something worked or where something was... it took two days before we finally heard from the Property Manager... he was a little helpful... but took far too long to respond to our texts. But, the house was beautiful. Some of the decor had to be moved as to allow use of the tables and such... rooms too were tiny. I'm NOT a whiner, just too much irritated me at this cabin. K~
This was our second year in a row we have stayed in the fall time. Everything is always wonderful at this cabin. With the new addition off the kitchen, you get absolutely stunning views of the lake especially at sunset. We saw several eagles come and go as well. Beautiful week tucked away in the woods right on a lake. Can't get any better than that! We will be back many times.
Beautiful property, beautiful cabin, and such a peaceful setting. We spent lots of time in the new 3 season room. Great Kitchen layout and high-quality appliances to make your meals. We loved everything about.
We had a fantastic stay at the lake house! We cannot wait to return. The house was so clean and well appointed. We loved everything about it. It was a total dream to stay here. The remote location and quiet lake were a perfect antidote to rowdier lakes. The giant screened in porch has an amazing view of the lake and I enjoyed my coffee there every morning with “lake TV” sitting and watching the lake.
This cabin was perfect for us and our fur baby. The location convenient to Minocqua Winter Park as this was a ski trip for us. It was spotless, the owners left notes everywhere explaining the lighting, TV use, wifi, fireplace, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Wifi and streaming programs was a bit of a challenge but it did not really affect our experience. I was super impressed that the access road was plowed the morning of a 5 inch snowfall. We will return next winter!
Beautiful cabin and great location.
Everything was perfect except the Wi-Fi wasn’t strong and the pillows and comforter I had feathers/down in them and I’m allergic. Other than that it felt like I was staying in a mansion.
The remodeled kitchen was fantastic. The house is beautiful. It would be nice if there was a rowboat for fishing. The canoes were tippy with the power boats on the lake.
The remodeled kitchen was a great surprise!! Very beautiful!!! We had a great stay and would highly recommend this place. We stayed for a week with six adults and a dog. Perfect amount of space!!
