Cute place…needs a bit of TLC but overall nice place.
house was very cute
My husband and I were so comfortable in this cozy house over the weekend of the Texas Music Revolution. The neighborhood is walkable to downtown and also close to groceries/Target. We slept so well on the very comfortable mattress. We were able to make out breakfast at “home” with the updated appliances. We didn’t spend much time outside at the house because we were mostly on the square, but the backyard is spacious and looked so nice to hang out in. I definitely recommend!
We stayed a little under a week as a in between from selling our home. Which happen to be the week my son graduated. The location is walkable in comfortable shows to DT, however not in dress clothes. Its a 30 minute walk to eateries. Unfortunately the grounds were not kept. Knee high grass, no trash bags in home, trash cans full outside (we had to buy bags and carry our trash out with us upon leaving). The landscapers came our last day in morning with no awareness, that would have been nice to know. You cannot do laundry and shower or do dishes at same time. In accurate wifi access; however after calling property management we did receive and site updated. The inside was cute, but backyard was rundown compared to pictures. For what we paid in fees and deposits and pictures I felt it did not even out in the end for rate unfortunately.
Very good
My two BFF's of 40+ yrs and I stayed at this cute cottage for 4 nights. They flew into town to help me and celebrate my daughter's wedding. This adorable place allowed us girl time, time away to relax, refresh and enjoy time together. We loved being able to get up in the AM and have coffee & breakfast in the morning sunshine lit dining room. We were so grateful for this place and it's close proximity to just about everything we needed... shopping, dining and easy access the major highways to get to the venue. Thank you so much for sharing this home with us
Really quaint house, well appointed and equipped. Perfect for a quiet getaway and convenient to all things Old Town McKinney. We really enjoyed our stay!
Perfect and super cute
We stayed here for a weekend while visiting family in Addison and Fort Worth, so didn’t spend much time in the house. It’s part of historic McKinney (I would assume). It’s a very old home, as are all the homes around it, and this gives it a certain charm you can’t find elsewhere. Its location is definitely not within comfortable walking distance to downtown McKinney—at least not for a family with smaller kids. We drove, and that whole downtown area is a dream. College kids or people looking to avoid drinking and driving could walk it easily though. Also, if you venture down College Street to the right (if you’re in the house, I can’t remember if it was east or west) it looks a little dicey. Something to take note of if you’re traveling alone. The opposite direction is great though. I felt safe in the house the entire stay. The beds are super comfortable. The air conditioner is loud and trickles when it turns off, but it’s an old house, so what can you do? Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re looking to stay in McKinney.
Great home and location. Everything was clean and in order. We had a slight issue with the lock but property manager was great at communicating!
