Quaint Cedar Rapids Home, 4 Mi to Downtown!

Cute home, everything we needed was within 10 mins.

This property was perfect for our needs. It is centrally located between CR, Marion and Hiawatha which is exactly what we needed. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The home is older so there are expected quirks. This included a slight draft coming through the windows - the property manager responded quickly and helpfully when we asked that the thermostat be turned up above 70 (their is a lock on the smart thermostat). We live in a warmer weather state so we noticed the Iowa chill (we visited at the end of October). All in all, we will definitely consider this property for any future visits as any pros definitely outweighed the cons.

Easy to find. Close to everything we needed. Clean. Was ideal for our for our stay.

Our host was available immediately, any time we needed something, and he clearly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay! I loved having ceiling fans in the bedrooms and the living room!! It was so nice having driveway parking, the space was perfect for me and my daughter, having the ability to do laundry is ideal, as well as being able to make meals while visiting my daughter at college! The location was amazing for everything we wanted to do! I am already planning my next stay in a couple months!

Nice place. Had everything my son and I needed for a few nights' stay. Far better than a hotel. Allows you to be able to purchase groceries instead of eating out every meal. I would recommend staying here if you have 2-3 people.

We had a great stay. Very comfortable beds. Cozy and quant. I would rebook this home again.

Over all our stay was nice; we only stayed two nights and it was a little more space than a hotel and the kitchen was nice to have. There aren’t many linens provided; the guest room with the trundle had two thin standard bed pillows. I might recommend bringing a pillow if you like multiples or something a little loftier. We were also only able to find one towel for the kitchen (more of a hand towel vs dish drying towel) and we never did find hot mitts or hot pads.. so removing a pizza from the oven got a bit tricky.Really our only ‘issue’ was the listing said we could park in the garage.. but we never did figure out how to get in. No service door to garage or opener provided. There was seemingly a button just inside the door of the house .. but that didn’t work either. We attempted to send an email to the address provided and it kicked back as undeliverable. I certainly could have called.. but we decided not to worry about it at that point.

We had a little trouble getting into the property but when we called the owner he answered promptly and helped us step by step. Our stay was very pleasant. Kids enjoyed the pool table and Foosball area also.

The house is small & dated but was perfect because we were in & out during our stay. We didn’t use the kitchen much; ate breakfast only. There was a minor problem that was responded & addressed within hours. We would stay there again.
