Stayed Jun 25, 2025It was a quaint little home with comfortable beds! Everything in the house was nice except for the second bedroom which didn’t not have access to air conditioning. We went I. The summer and rented this location thinking air conditioning is available and made a bit difficult to sleep. If they fix that issue 5 stars!!!

Stayed Oct 4, 2024This was my first time booking with a management company (Vacasa) working out of VRBO, which is not something I noticed when making the reservation. Likely due to it being a company and not the home's owner, we experienced some frustrations with the lack of communication. First, we asked for early check-in upon booking and were told they'd email us the morning of if it was an option. The day of the booking came, we heard nothing, and my message inquiring wasn't responded to until the day after we checked out. Then, there was a boil order in the town, and we only found out when we saw a sign at the gas station. All are very different from my previous experiences with VRBO hosts. Pros: Great location, easy walk to town; beautifully redone kitchen and bathroom; nice grill; great book selection! Cons: Poor communication; could use a deep cleaning (spider webs, dirty vents); the front door's deadbolt wouldn't work; high fees upon booking It was a fine place with many things we could have easily overlooked individually, but all together, it led to a stay we wouldn't repeat.

Stayed Sep 20, 2024We loved the downstairs of this property! Great living room/dining room area- very comfortable, and kitchen is beautiful!! However, upon checking into the property and going upstairs to check out the bedrooms, there was a giant hornet on the wall and multiple spiders/bugs on the bed and surrounding area of the bed. Also having a 10 digit code to enter the property was extremely inconvenient every time we entered the property. My partner and I were both too uncomfortable to sleep in the main queen/king size room, so opted for the 2 twin hospital ward looking beds the 1st night, and the 2nd night I opted for the couch downstairs. Not worth the cost/expense of the rental in our opinions, and would not stay there again in the future.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed our stay here. The location is good- it's about a 15 minute walk into downtown Three Oaks or a very short drive. Only ten minutes to New Buffalo and was a great jumping off point for exploring the area. The house is clean and comfortable. It's priced well for those looking for simple accommodations. We also had an infant with us and she enjoyed the stay too!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great location within a 10 minute walk to Three Oaks business district and on a quiet residential street. 10 minute drive to the beach. Loved staying in an old farm house. Natural lighting; pleasant. Please note that the bedrooms are upstairs and there is only one bathroom located downstairs-so if you're up more than once in the middle of the night, keep that in mind. Lastly, we found the fees to be steep. Almost double the cost of the room. Not sure if that's a Vacasa thing or just with this particular property.

Stayed Aug 12, 2024This little house is cozy, quiet, and very comfortable. There are two upstairs bedrooms -- one with a double bed (very comfy, but we recommend you bring your own pillow) and one with two twin trundle beds. So upstairs technically sleeps 6. The only bathroom is downstairs tho, so if you have walking or climbing issues you will want to sleep on the sofa bed. Kitchen is very modern with a garbage disposal, gas stove, microwave and a cute little pull-out drawer fridge and freezer (not a ton of space in there, but perfect for the two of us). Nice counter space. Living room/dining room area is cozy and clean and more rustic than the kitchen. So the whole house is a mix of cozy cabin and modern. We really liked it. There's lots of outdoor space and a driveway to park and a table and chairs on the front porch (for two) and out back (for more). The bathroom is really pretty, decorated in black and white, but the shower is weird -- there's no door, thus no privacy and so only one person at a time can use the bathroom. The floor gets really wet during shower. Also, if you are not able to bend down and pick things up, this shower will be very difficult as the only place to set soap, shampoo, razor, etc. is on the shower floor. We didn't have a problem with this but older travelers might. Lots of clean towels, washer and dryer, books to read, coffeemaker, toilet paper, q-tips. Bring your own box of tissues, that's not included. Three Oaks downtown area is about 1 mile away.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The Nook was really clean and had more than everything we needed in the kitchen. Such a perfect little house for two friends reuniting! Beds were comfortable in both bedrooms. Just be aware the bathroom is downstairs. Nice seating area in the back gets afternoon sun. Close to New Buffalo, Warren Dunes and Weko Beach. Great restaurants in town, an easy walk. . Don't miss the Oaks Eatery, the Journeyman Distillery, and great pizza at Petellies. And a grocery store just down the street. The local contact was a great help with questions! We'll be back!
