Gilford, New Hampshire
Bordering the quaint town of Alton Bay this home is newly constructed with all the charm of a rustic camp. The property is conveniently located near Mount Major and only 1 mile from Ellacoya State Beach. Come and enjoy a day on the lake with boat access only minutes away, take a hike, enjoy a concert at Meadowbrook or just sit and relax at your private home away from home. If you're attending an event at Gunstock Mountain Resort or you're just planning to go on their Zipline then this is a perfect location for you. This home sits off the road with a nice flat yard for outdoor games and a deck for your BBQ.
Nice quiet location, great for 3-4 people
Super clean and cute cottage. Will definitely come back for our weekends boating at the lake.
Cottage was exactly as described, perfect getaway for a weekend with the family. Clean and cozy. Would definitely go back.
The property property provides a great place to stay when visiting the Lakes Region or attending a concert nearby. The house was clean and comfortable. Kay was a great host.
I loved the cottage! It was very cute and I loved the bear and moose decor. Location was great for our needs. We were up for a concert and the location was great for that. We also went to the Weirs a couple of times since it was so easy to get to. Would definitely stay there again!
Good location for access to local activities.
I love a clean property and this little place was exactly that. My husband and I stayed here with our baby for a few days while visiting family on the lake. It was the perfect home base for us. As some others have noted, an AC unit of some kind in the bedroom upstairs would be nice. We opted to sleep downstairs because it was quite hot for the few days we stayed. My only other comment (which I acknowledge is a bit bit-picky) is that the towels, while freshly washed and clean, were a bit old/dingy looking and could use replacing. But otherwise this was a great stay and I would 100% stay again!
Very clean, quiet property. Located near hiking, lake, Bank of New Hampshire pavilion for great outdoor concerts.
Nice little house, very clean, only complaint is that after charging a cleaning fee the owner requires that you clean and do laundry before checkout. That should be clear and right upfront in the description.
Super cute and very clean. Enjoyed our stay.
House was super clean. Plenty of parking. Great place to stay near the pavilion.
House was a very clean, quiet spot for me as I attended my sons wedding reception nearby.
The location and size of the house was perfect for my wife and I. The house has all of the basics and is within easy biking distance to Ellacoya State Park and walking distance to Ellacoya Barn and Grill (great food!) The house has a bedroom upstairs while the bathroom is downstairs. There is also a sleeper sofa downstairs. We chose to sleep on the sleeper sofa because of the proximity tot he bathroom and it was much cooler downstairs with the air conditioning.
