Quaint 4-bedroom home located in Wichita’s adorable College Hill

Location in Wichita was great, nice quiet neighborhood, close to everything

Nice neighborhood. Home backdoor entry from driveway was filthy (floor wipe off mats covered in dirt, lots of dead leaves and dirt on floor, screen door hinge broken and door was dirty....had to use a brick to prop open door as we carried in our luggage). Area rugs were worn down and bath rugs very worn. Towels seem old & were worn and very mismatched. Refrigerator icemaker frozen over & leaked on floor the entire time. Had to purchase ice & bottle water. Dead bugs & spider webs in window sills & base of sofa. Found a used tube of scabies cream in cushion of sofa (left this wrapped in paper towel in basket at front entry. Backs of the armless chairs in lvg room broken so you could not lean back. Fabric seat cushions of chairs in dining room had no support and just ripped when you sat in them. Extra sheets & blankets in master closet just thrown on floor in closet. Some sheets in other closets not folded so didn't know if they were clean or dirty. Plastic bottles of hand soaps at bathroom sinks were all partially used. Random partially used soap and shampoo bottles in showers. Privacy pull-down blind in upstairs bathroom was tattered. Carpet on stairs to basement bedroom was filthy dirty. Was a very busy weekend of my son's wedding & so just called owner today. He just continued to talk over me and had an excuse for everything and was not receptive to me at all. The only pictures I took were of the spider webs & dead bug, which I can submit.

Property was beautiful and in a great location. Exactly as advertised. Beds were comfortable. We did not get a check out email and we did not see any check out instructions, which is why I said communication was low. But, if they didn’t leave any on purpose then I suppose communication was great!

It was a beautiful home that we all were very comfortable in. We would definitely stay there again if we come to Wichita.The one thing I’d suggest is to add “south” when giving out the address. We went north instead of south.

Everything from the moment I reserved has been wonderful! The home was impeccably clean and so homey the individual renting the unit replied quickly and was willing to accommodate our needs. We will return!

The house was conveniently located to the many attractions of Wichita. Lots of room for big families. Owners were easy to contact and responded quickly.

Loved staying at this home! So charming and in such a great neighborhood. We walked to dinner and enjoyed all of the unique homes in the area. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

stairs to all the bedrooms was not stated on the discription. had one guest that could not stay because of that, living room furniture not that comfortable to just lounge and watch tv. beautiful home though

This place is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! We needed a good base of operations for our first visit to the area. House is so cool. Beds are comfortable and love the charm and decor. We loved our stay and hope to visit again. We also walked down to the college Hill park, kids everywhere riding bike, people super friendly and very safe. If you want a first class stay with a super cool vibe this place is it. Easy to get all over town from here. Owner was awesome too. Very good communication, making visit low stress.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating, and the house was adorable! We love the College Hill area, so it was nice to stay there for a weekend. Thank you, Larry!

It was nice, comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay!it took me a minute to to work the Cypher lock and one of the showers.The outside trash bin was full and full trash bags were in the back porch.

We stayed here for a low-key reunion of old friends/girls’ weekend, and it was the perfect location in a beautiful old neighborhood full of character and charm. The house is full of original wood trim and built-in cabinets, so when entering, the old-wood smell is fairly strong. At first it’s slightly off putting, but then it’s like a warm hug. Don’t know how else to describe it. The house was clean, and generally well-stocked. The kitchen’s supply of could use a few more staples (olive/cooking oil, coffee for the full-size coffee maker, etc

Clean home in a quiet location. Beds were comfortable. We were only there at night so it was nice to have the comfy beds. :)

Four of us, each had our own bedroom. Living room great for late night visits. Dining room perfect for meals. Close to several restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. Owner very accomodating. Wøould definitely stay again.

This property is great for 8 people. Plenty of space and bathrooms. Location is walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants.

This property is exactly as shown and described. Hardwood floors, wide staircase, high ceilings. We’ve stayed in multiple VRBO properties - this property sets a new standard for us regarding items provided, owner communication, and location. Host was very responsive and very helpful. We would stay here again without question. If you are going to McConnell Air Force Base or Wichita this property is what you are looking for. Great location and superbly maintained.

Great stay! The house has character and all of the amenities we needed for the stay. Towels and kitchen supplies were plenty. The location is close to all attractions in Wichita. Hot water for showers and lots of room for our party of 5. The back deck area could use a refresh but serviceable.

Very old house. Charming in that old fasioned way. Very creaky and has the old house smell. We enjoyed that.

This house is just as described. We were in Wichita for a graduation and it was wonderful that we could all stay together. Great bathrooms, plenty of hot water, beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was so comfortable with controls upstairs and down. The kitchen was well stocked for us to cook at the house.

Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for eating and gathering for games and visiting, which was perfect for our family weekend trip. It's a really cool older home design! And lots of outdoor space to enjoy nice weather. Check out was pretty simple, which we appreciated as well.

We loved this house. It had so much room and character! We cooked a lot and had plenty of cookware and glassware to make our meals. Beds were comfortable. Quiet street. The neighborhood is so cute and felt very safe. There is also a dining room with a large table to eat at which isn’t shown in the photos. We would highly recommend!

This home had so much character. It was large enough to accommodate my husband and I and our 3 adult children. Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms.

This house was perfect for our sisters weekend! We had everything we needed and the location was so convenient. We spent quite a bit of time around the dining room table working puzzles and playing games. We'd highly recommend this home.

Our son and family live next door to this house which makes our visit extremely convenient. Our oldest daughter joins us too. We have included family from California too. Words alone cannot express what joy and peace it brings to have access to your beautiful home. We will definitely want to come again.

I think we were disappointed in no hot tub. We looked around and did not find it - we all had brought our suits and were looking to use that after a long day. Other than that it was fine. We all slept well. It met our needs.
