I was very pleased with my stay at this property. The house was very clean and comfortable and Savannah was easily accessible from there. The host was courteous and was able to accommodate a very late request to add an additional night to my stay- a night earlier than either of us had planned. Excellent customer service that made my overall stay much easier and enjoyable. I highly recommend this property.
Large, well kept home in established and quiet neighborhood. Property has spacious driveway so that multiple vehicles can be parked and is conveniently located near Savannah, a beautiful local park with walking/jogging trails within walking distance and the home is within a short drive to Fort McAllister State Park. I stayed in the Blue Room which had an extremely comfortable king-size bed and looked out over the vast backyard complete with mature trees, fire pit and swimming pool. The room also had blackout curtains, which I love simply because I am an extremely light sleeper and even the slightest amount of light has a tendency to interrupt my slumber. Speaking of, be advised that there are train tracks nearby, that trains do frequent. However, even as a light sleeper, I was not disturbed by them (caveat, I have previously lived next to train tracks and have gotten used to them, so you may be affected differently). The host is extremely kind, considerate, attentive and wants to make sure that you have the best experience possible. He makes himself available to answer any questions you may have both through the VRBO app and via phone. There is one bathroom, so if you are there when another guest has booked the other room, you may want to make sure that you either have an opportunity to discuss a plan with the other guest, or, make sure you get up early enough to accomodate your plans without getting in each other's way. One last item; the host does require that you purchase an insurance policy (for a VERY reasonable price) for any potential damages to the property, so make sure that you add that into the cost. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and am already considering it! Do youself a favor - skip the hotel and stay here instead!
