Stayed Nov 26, 2025Host was welcoming. House was nice. Some amenities could have been better. Grills were falling apart (literally). Pool was great and maintained heat during the cold! VERY close to the beach and the grounds were well kept. Overall a very wonderful stay!

Stayed Mar 30, 2024We stayed here last year and have already scheduled our reservation for next year. This place is perfect! There were a few issues with the pool, but the folks at Forgotten Coast handled it very efficiently and kept in contact with us. My granddaughters are already asking if we can go back to the Purple House at the beach!

Stayed Jul 9, 2023This was our first time to Mexico Beach & we loved it. The house was lovely. It has the perfect amount of room for us and our grown children to have their own space. We hope that with the redevelopment more eating places will come back.

Stayed Mar 11, 2023The Purple Rain is exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable for 2 adults and 4 teens. The location is very convenient with a very short walk to the beach. We cook a lot of our own meals and found everything we needed. The weather was typical for March and switching between AC and heat was no problem. A quick phone. all to the property manager and our pool was heated too. When I couldn't figure out the three TV remotes, the office staff politely walked me through the process and offered to stop by if we needed more assistance. It was a great vacation and we will stat here again if we find ourselves in Mexico Beach.

Stayed Aug 6, 2022The house is in a great location with easy access to the beach. Rooms were lovely. Easy access to very good restaurants. Mango Marleys, the Shell shack, and killer seafood are very close. Love our time here as a family
