Pure Joy - Cozy Bungalow Downtown Granbury

Wow, this home is worth staying in just for the experience. It is a wonderful, cozy home filled with personality. From the furnishings, decor and art work - the home literally tells a story. The beds were super comfortable and the home is very nicely supplied. Just a wonderful stay. Thank you!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully restored and decorated historic home PureJoy. Clean, roomy, with all the amenities. Exactly as advertised. Will definitely stay there again if ever back in Granbury.

The backyard has an amazing outdoor fireplace stocked with everything you need (even blankets) to keep you cozy under the night sky. This home was truly a joy to stay in. It has every modern convenience you could want, but retains it's historic charm. The location could not be better. A short 3 blocks to the historic square, close enough to comfortably walk, but far enough that you are not bothered by the downtown noise. Only 1 block from the beach if that's your thing. Ben, the host, has thought of everything. He responded in a very timely manner to any question we had, even on a holiday. We had a wonderful time!

I have been renting Vrbo for a long time and our host Ben has thought of every single detail and beyond!!!! For the first time I had zero complaints or opinion to give to make it a better stay! This place was perfect! The bedding and pillows and all the blankets were amazing. The welcome basket did actually bring “joy”! The home made us feel so special as it ended up being a weekend for celebration of life…he was so gracious with us! The kitchen meets the definition of “well appointed”. Other places will say they are but they never are. This place was WELL APPOINTED! The floor plan is also a favorite! This is our new home away from home place…perfect walking distance to shopping and restaurants as well! Thank you Ben for a beautiful weekend!

This historic home has been updated to have modern conveniences without compromising the historical feel. Lots of attention to detail (it's like they live there) accomplished utilizing high quality items. The bed is SUPER comfortable and the fire place outside was perfect to enjoy on a cool evening. It's a very short walk to the square, making it perfect for us.

If you are looking for a quiet, homey place to stay within walking distance of the historic Granbury square, this is the place! Not only was it beautifully decorated, the historic touches of the old bar from the square and the history of the home make it extra special. The hosts, Ben an Hannah, live just up the road and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The kitchen was well stocked and most of the cookware was name brand. The kitchen was large with lots of counter space, and there were cups and glasses of all sizes for us to use. The best part was the large outdoor fireplace - no smoke on your clothes!!. After an enjoyable dinner at a bistro down the road, we were able to enjoy hours by a warm fire and roasted marshmallows for s’mores. They thought of everything with a s’mores kit provided and blankets to use for extra warmth while outside by the fire. To top it all off, the mattresses were comfortable and the pillows were plush, making for a good nights rest after our days out exploring. I could seriously go on and on. Thank you Ben and Hannah for a wonderful stay. We will be back again and next time when friends!

We had the most relaxing getaway at this property. The host was quick to respond and very helpful during our stay. The home is full of the neatest historical features, but is completely updated to make you feel comfortable. The back yard of this home is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. One of my favorite things is how close it is to the downtown square, yet you have the privacy on the large property. Every detail of this home has been thoughtfully curated. The home was extremely CLEAN. I highly recommend this property!
