I loved the layout of the house - I could cook breakfast without worrying about waking anyone up, and there were a lot of things to do in the house on the afternoon that it rained. Also, it’s a great location on the lake

Stayed Jun 21, 2025The house was situated in a private cove, so it had some privacy. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The dock was a little old and could use some TLC, but we appreciated the roof on part of it for shade. Our family enjoyed playing pickleball on the court that was painted on the driveway. It is a little bit of a walk to the water and the walk back up to the house is fairly steep. Overall, we enjoyed our time there.

Stayed Apr 4, 2025This was a great home at Smith Mountain. Everything was clean and ready for checkin. The view was gorgeous, the game room was a blast and the private dock was wonderful. I didn’t realize it was a mid entry home and my elderly mother had a hard time with the steps especially with the kitchen downstairs, so please keep that in mind when booking.
