private villa with stunning ocean views

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Cades. It is beautifully located in a very calm neighbourhood, very spacious, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the various places outside, allowing you to sunbath or retreat in the shade, if you prefer. If there's anything at all - a few spots (bathroom ceiling, curtains in utility room) might need a little makeup (due to the humid climate), but that's complaining on a veryhigh level. Ok, and a better illumination in the dining corner would be nice, but that's it. The place was just perfect for us, we will definitely come back one day and can highly recommend to anyone.

Very nice week in a quite neighborhood. The view from the terrace and the living room is incredible. The house is half an hour drive from Funchal and many famous trails.

Well kept spacious property with stunning ocean views . Close to supermarkets . Owner was very helpful with regards to location advice on the area and the booking process was seamless. Will definately stay there again

We loved this villa!!! Spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable. When you open your curtains in the morning you see the stunning views of the ocean, a perfect start to the day. The villa was always a cool retreat from the daytime sun and at night it was a comfortable temperature to sleep in. The villa is situated on the hill side in quiet residential area, within a 5 minutes drive down to Calheta, and within 15 minutes drive from other beaches, ports, bars and restaurants. We found the prices affordable and good quality (the food was excellent) Madeira is a beautiful island very traditional, clean and unspoilt. We will return

The villa was a good size tucked away from the main road but allowed easy access to the Rapida so we could visit different parts of the Island. Some of the furniture and linen was a bit tired but was functional. The builders next door started work at 8.00 am Monday to Saturday so no lie ins. Obviously the view from the bedrooms was spoilt by this new build. On the other side there was constant bubbling from their swimming pool mechanism which was never used while we were in the house - this could be heard from the terrace. On balance the villa was good value and if certain issues were addressed then we would come back again on our annual Madeira holiday

The house is really very nice and comfortable. As I have problems with walking stairs it was very pleasant to have the whole house on one floor. The house has really everything you need for a nice stay, including nice launchchairs on the deck. The view from the deck is very nice! There is also a nice garden. Too bad that the garden lacked maintenance. If we would ever return to Madeira then we would definitely rent this house again.

Had a memorable stay at this beautiful spacious and well-equipped villa - what a find! Modern but stylish in it's interior, very clean and every possible facility neede for a comfortable stay. The views from the terrace are simply stunning and it's location allows for easy trips to local restaurants and only 30 mins drive to Funchal which was a really good balance. We highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to enjoy a holiday in Madeira, you won't regret it!

Nice house with stunning view to the sea and mountains. Our children enjoied playroom. Spacious balkony and terrace. Very nice house.
