Cool experience and great hosts! Matt came out to greet us when we arrived and showed us where to get the key. My kids loved the play room and played tons of air hockey. My daughter also said it was the prettiest bed she’s even seen. Unique building that is clean and had everything we needed. Close to our destinations - the Newport Aquarium and Cincinnati Zoo. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Celebrated my daughter‘s 20th birthday and we had a wonderful time I loved how open the living room area was and we really enjoyed the ping-pong table in the air hockey table. We will definitely be back.

Yes! This was perfect for our trip. We were in town to do an activity for my twins' birthday (iFly indoor skydiving) and needed a place for the night. It was a really unique space with interesting history. The space and the articles shared with us about the Mansion were our main topic of conversation among 3 teenagers, so pretty pithy to pull them out of their phones. Our biggest disappointment is that we didn't have occasion to stay here when all 5 of our kids were young. My wife said several times they would have LOVED this when they were little There were a lot of kid amenities, ours enjoyed the nostalgia of looking at the wooden trains since they had almost all of the same ones.

Excellent host! Great communication and very responsive. It’s an incredible property and was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay next time we’re in town. Bonus was the Tesla charger, as I was anxious about planning where/when to charge. The ping-pong table and air-hockey were a great way for us to spend our downtime. I highly recommend this property if you’re in Cincinnati!

My wife and I and our adult son and daughter had a great time here, spending two nights; we would have happily stayed longer if our schedule allowed. The bedrooms are large and the living spaces even larger! Lots of toys for young kids as well as some games. The bid red sofa was so comfortable, and the huge tv made for a great movie night. We appreciated the Christmas tree that made the living room feel festive.The kitchenette was limited, but perfectly fine for us (fridge, microwave, toaster, and sink, plus a coffee bar nearby). The bathroom had a remarkably large shower with 3 shower heads…good pressure and spray on the one I used, and water was plenty hot.We enjoyed the architectural charm of the mansion. The third floor was clean, spacious, and welcoming. The grounds were grand and the property is something special.

It was a great place to stay as we basked in the history and grandeur of this splendid residence.

Super fun place to stay. We explored downtown Cincy, Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter. Perfect location! Right by Xavier University. Easy to get everywhere. Walkable neighborhood. Totally private stay on the top floor, felt at home. Had teens, but would have been fantastic with young kids also. Favorite part was sleeping in the princess bed! Even got to see the dogs as we were leaving.

We had a wonderful time! Really enjoyed having ping-pong and air hockey tournaments with my adult and teenage children. Thank you so much for everything!

The grounds are amazing! The space was large enough for our family without feeling cramped. Any questions we had were quickly answered and customer service provided was amazing. So happy about our stay!

We loved our stay! The place was easy to find, parking was easy. It was clean inside and a comfortable temperature. My son absolutely loved the playroom and walking around the yard. We would absolutely stay again!

The Marion mansion is exceptional! It is a unique place with a great history. Heather and Matt, and their dogs, are terrific hosts. There was ample room for our group to sit around a table and share stories together. We will gladly come back and send others!

This was the perfect stay for our little family. Our daughter loved exploring the grounds. The game room was so nice to let the kids play in on lazy mornings and in the evenings before bed. The rooms were comfy and cool and the hosts were very nice and accommodating.

We had a great experience at this property. Being in a very old mansion led to some quirky aspects of the rooms, but overall, I would highly recommend this property to others.

Great location, right next to the Zoo, only issue was parking. Was supposed to be one spot per VRBO but got back late one night from Kings Island and there were no spots left.

Beautiful area with lots of amazing properties. We had a short stay but really enjoyed the experience. Not your typical VRBO. Would love to stay here again next time traveling to Cincinnati.

There were a few issues the trundle beds linen was not up to par, and a few wrappers under it.Overall a beautiful place, the grounds were amazing, it was centrally located, and Matt and his wife were very nice.My my estimate it sleeps 6 adults, one small child and a teenager or smaller adult. And the sectional couch could squeeze a few in. I liked its charm

This house is very unique and had a lot for our kids to do in the game room. It would have been nice if one of the beds were a king size, the rooms are massive and certainly could accommodate that. We only stayed one night but it was nice!

This property is very nice. The unit was very spacious and beautiful. The bathroom was very nice and large. I really enjoyed the shower. The bedrooms were nice although the beds were not very comfortable the rooms were large and well decorated. The game room was a lot of fun. Air hockey ping pong and my favorite was the Atari pong council. The living area was nice the couch was comfortable. The tv was a Roku tv that required you to bring your own streaming service (I don’t have one) it would have been nice to at least have an antenna.

Matt was responsive during our stay. Location was great for our needs. The cat, Chester, was the star of the show though!

My only regret about staying at the Mansion was that we didn't stay longer. The house and grounds are so beautiful and everyone we encountered was friendly--my kids were especially enamored with the friendly pets they met. The rooms were spaceous and very comfortable, and it was a very restful place to stay, even with my wild bunch of kids. My children loved the play room. If anything, the listing undersold it! Every second they weren't sleeping, they were in there. The bathroom, with its large changing area and giant shower, was perfect for us. The kitchenette fridge and freezer were really helpful to us. The hosts were really responsive to my questions prior to booking and maintained clear communication through the messaging feature throughout our stay. We'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect for spring break adventure with the family - close to zoo, Newport Aquarium, Jungle Jim’s, and more. The property has a lot of character and we loved the huge shower. Check in / check out easy and owner is very friendly. Kids loved the animals on property too!

Our grandkids absolutely loved this place! There was 11 of us and 2 furry friends and it accommodated us all for the evening and night. Shower was great and huge with 3 shower heads with nice tile. A lot of stairs but I manage with a post op total knee. Parking is good . One at the mansion and plenty street parking. Very good communication with the host. Thanks so much for letting us stay at the Marion Mansion would love to stay again or try one of the Carriage House rooms.

Huge space, air hockey, ping pong, cool old mansion. Google maps didn't know exactly where it was but we found it easily enough.

Spacious apartment with lots of toys. Expect the usual things that go with older homes like draftyness, steep stairs. Kitchenette well equipped. Bathroom clean and functional. Comfy large couch.

Excellent place for a large gathering. 4 bedrooms and a HUGE communal area make for a great time.

We had a great short stay here with our family! We have young children (17 months and almost 3 years old) and they loved the play room so much! The location is conveniently located close to all the areas attractions and also the children's hospital for appointments. We will definitely be back in the future!

My stay was amazing! The neighborhood is safe and quiet and the location is just enough outside the city, but you can be anywhere you need to be in less than 15 mins. I loved the original wood in the house and how upkept everything is inside. Next time, I want to stay in the carriage house! I would prefer more of a kitchen area as I like to bring/cook my own food, and that wasnt much of an option. However, it does not change my rating and overall experience

We loved our stay at Marion Mansion. The location made it easy to get everywhere we wanted to visit--the baseball stadium, the zoo, and some breweries--within just a few minutes. The neighborhood was quiet and we loved walking the dogs around and enjoying the architecture in the neighborhood. My 15-month-old niece loved the playroom and made great use of the toys while the adults took turns with the bathroom. We also enjoyed learning the different quirky elements of the building like the interesting shower! Matt and Heather were super accommodating and provided lots of nice touches like the coffee bar and fans in the bedrooms (especially on an exceptionally hot fall weekend). We also loved watching the chickens and I especially loved being greeted by the sweet cat almost every time we came out since I was missing my cat at home. We had a wonderful time!

We stayed here on a birthday trip for my two young daughters (5 and 3) to see the city and the zoo. We made the right choice. This was easily the most family friendly stay we’ve ever had. There was a crib, high chair, and multiple bedrooms. Large playroom that all kids had a blast in. Obviously the beautiful historic mansion was a major wow factor for mom and dad. The spaciousness was a comfort for our group. Very easy to work with the property owners. This was definitely a favorite for us.

If you seek a unique place to stay when you're away, this is for you. The mansion is full of character and old-style charm, a craftsman's dream. It's close to downtown Cincinnati. Our Uber ride was $17 even on a busy night.

In town for a soccer game and walked right to the stadium. Very nice neighborhood and so convenient. Beautiful house and nice stay. Only had a one night stay, but had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Property and 3rd floor unit was as described. Great accommodations and ease of check in into piece of history. Would recommend the stay and plan to book future stay.

It was all we needed. The only small matter would be the doors, our bedroom door would not latch closed and did not have a lock, not that a lock was needed. The main door did not lock either. But we felt safe. Over all it was a good deal. One more thing, we didn't find the extra beds in any of the rooms. It stated there was 3 beds in one room. All rooms had one bed.

The property was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here.
