Private Swimming Pool House 5bd

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The house was spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The highlight was definitely the pool—it was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect place to relax and spend time with family and friends.

Property was absolutely disgusting and advertised in a way that was very misleading. We brought our two young daughters here and regretted it. Here is a summary of the larger issues we encountered. A massive patch of black mold growing in the dishwasher. The owner suggested we use dishwasher pods to remedy. The smell was rancid. The back sliding door leading to the pool was only locked via a chain lock, the actual turn lock was broken. Owners said “it’s a safe neighborhood” in response to our complaint. The pool hadn’t been cleaned in weeks, the bottom of it filled with dirt and grime. The skimmer net was completely torn. All that leading us to believe the pool isn’t regularly cleaned as claimed. Our primary reason for booking the property for our daughters was to use this pool, we weren’t able to go in once since we didn’t feel safe. There was a “tiny house” on property that the owner also rented out that shares on property space with the primary house. This was not mentioned in our listing and we never would have booked knowing this. Complete strangers on property with us and strange cars coming in and out of the driveway. We didn’t have wifi, the owner couldn’t remedy this either . All the furniture in the house was breaking at the slightest touch (end tables etc.). The dryer was broken so we couldn’t dry our wet clothes from the water parks we went to. And the icing on the cake was the live cockroach we saw on the way out. Great location

I absolutely loved it! The only thing that was an issue was there was no banister or handrail for the stairs. I cannot dwell on that because everything else was great. My family, which included my mother and sister, my son, his wife, my grandson, and two special need clients that are part of our family. This was our first VBRO. We chose that property because it was closest to my sister’s house who lives in San Antonio/Helotes. The kitchen was spacious lots of countertop room the table in the diner area accommodated all of us even when we were just lounging in the game room we wasn’t crowded up together. We watched while playing the pool table. My grandson, 5, ran around and played in the play area. He enjoyed himself as well. Overall, we enjoy it just being together. The property itself felt like we were in the country with lots of acreage but still in the city, just us. Unfortunately, to was too cool to swim, we enjoyed the view. I can’t wait to go again.

The house was great! The only issue we had was the drainage from the sink..it was stopped up and took a while to drain..also the bathtub faucet doesnt work..its a shower only house,none of the faucets work..but the beds were comfortable, the pool was amazing,the house was cool and spacious! Loved it!

This was a very poor quality VRBO. This would be comparable to staying at a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn. Everything was chincy and cheap. The front door handle came off in our hand with the 1st turn. Back Door would not close. Mattresses, bedding very poor poor quality. Washing machine smelt of mildew.The lawn has not been attended to in a long time which caused horrible mosquito problems. Roaches everywhere! Pool filter doesnt work so the pool was littered with debris. V05 shampoo/conditioner, no body soap except for 1 bath,no laundry soap.Shower upstairs did not work.Only 1 pool que had a tip. Located off an extremely busy road.Playground not usable. Shared driveway. Strangers walk through property to get to some camper that is parked adjacent to the property.Extremely Dissatisfied and wished I would have chosen one of the other places we looked at. Awesome thanks place to stay. No complaints. Family had a blast!!

House was roomy. Property was not well maintained. Landscaping was not groomed. Picnic table and swing set was rotted out and not usable. No pool house, it was used for old storage. Furnishings were dated and bed pillows were stained and disgusting under the cases. Not nearly enough essentials. Not even a wine opener. No extra toilet paper or garbage bags. The list goes on.

They stay was decent. We arrived as someone (assuming manager) was leaving. Thankfully she was there because they changed the door code and didn’t say anything to us. They also stressed that we couldn’t have anyone else on the property which was fine, however, they also failed to mention that someone else shares the driveway and is and off the property all the time. It was fine, it just would have been nice to know. Also, the chlorine in the pool was extremely strong. The main bedroom also was so hot when the doors were shut. Which the owner sent over a fan for. Overall it was a good stay, just would have been nice to know those few tidbits or not stress that no addl ppl were allowed in the property. It was also weird to see a stranger just walking in the front yard. It took me off guard. The house is extremely close to so many things! We went to canyon lake and it was only about 30 mins away. There’s an HEB on the corner close to the highway dominoes and other places. We enjoyed our stay and would consider returning. We really enjoyed the pool and the outside area. I think we used that more than the house. We also loved the pool table and the foosball table.
