We very much enjoyed our stay. The place was easy to find and check in to, and it was extremely comfortable. A beautiful space with lots of thoughtful touches. Highly recommended.

Very nice little apartment with all the essentials. Very comfortable bed. The location is easy to access, quiet and provides good access to the south side of Anchorage. A car is necessary, but this is true for all of the city. I will recommend this location to friends and will try to stay there when I need to stay in Anchorage. I recommend it over a hotel. Much more space and comfort.

Wonderful, comfortable and well equipped suite away from crowded downtown but close to restaurants and shops. A very friendly and helpful host was available but suite was very private. Also appreciated the nice little touches in the suite.

This property had everything you needed for a great stay in Anchorage. It is close to the airport, and easy to get to. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is clean and quiet. We would definitely love to stay here again if we are in the area.

Such a comfortable, serene place. Alison has thought of everything. The VRBO is close to Anchorage and all points south thru the Turnagain Arm. This was a pitstop for us, but we wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here twice and will stay again if we come again to Anchorage. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is roomy. The living area was comfortable. The mini kitchen had everything we needed to cook, make coffee, etc.

The host thought of everything. There were many thoughtful extras that were made available to and for us to use (if we chose to). Extras such as binoculars and a backpack for day trips and a reusable (cloth) shopping bag for food runs. This property is centrally located for trips to Anchorage, the scenic highways, and excursions. I was there for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The host has a plethora of information about alaska and available 'things to do'. If/when I come back to Alaska, this is where I would stay!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Alison's place. We had been traveling for several months and seeing Allison's place felt like home. Unlike several other places we stayed at, Alison's place had extra linens, utensils, coffee and a small pantry with items to use. It reminded me of a backpacker's pantry. The location was a short drive to groceries, fast food, restaurants and several hiking trails. Best of all, we got to see a small moose one day eating leaves off of a nearby tree. If you're looking for a comfortable place that is convenient, don't hesitate to stay at Alison's place.

Hosts were very communicative, attentive to our needs ( shoveled driveway and shoveled snow off our car ). We had to extend our stay due to weather and they gladly extended us for two additional days. We have already booked the unit for two separate nights this year. I want to give this unit higher rating. The owner showed real effort in making the unit a comfortable and relaxing place with a well stocked mini kitchen and bathroom. The unit is also clean and well laid out. The overall setup is done well and we enjoyed this portion. However, the unit is very prone to noise at night, including gurgling of the pipes, expansion/contraction sounds, and other sounds throughout the night, making undisturbed sleep almost impossible. If you are sensitive to noise like I am, I would suggest to take that into consideration.

Wonderful suite, felt so homey. Host has everything you need right there, even some chocolates to welcome you! You park right by the suite, so it's very easy access. Will stay there again, plus recommend to anyone asking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price while in Anchorage..

We stayed here a total of 5 nights on a split stay and it’s just a very comfortable suite with a super nice hostess! Everything about Alison’s place was amazing! The icing on the cake was our last evening there I was sitting on the deck and there was a huge bull moose across the street and he was magnificent! I am so impressed with this rental and especially the host! We booked both the beginning and end of our Alaska trip here. Knew it was perfect within 5 minutes of arriving. Alison had helped me plan the trip with some good advice. Check-in was a breeze with the key code. Had everything we needed plus more. Bed was super comfy, several staples available should we want to eat in, and there was a basket of local booklets for things to do and places to eat, and Alison was the perfect host. The yard was beautiful too! Overall it was fantastic and very highly recommended!

Just perfect! The property is comfortable, cozy and very well appointed. Spacious bedroom with a really, really comfy bed, large bathroom with a fantastic shower. Living room had 2 cozy recliners. Kitchen had what we needed, with a coffee and tea drawer that was chock full and a stash of staples if we decided to stay in. Alison was the perfect hostess. She gave me lots of good advice when setting up our trip and was very welcoming. We’re staying again a couple nights before we leave and I’m looking forward to it. Heartily recommended!!

It was just as reviewed previously, quiet, comfortable and easy to get places from. We liked being down by Potter's Marsh. It was a great introduction to Alaska. We also utilized the comfy chairs in the living room!

The property was beautiful. It was like having my own one bedroom apartment. Allison was very friendly. I will definitely stay there again. She had everything you would need for your stay including room darkening shades in the bedroom for when you come to Alaska and the sun doesn't go down till midnight.

We flew into Anchorage from Georgia around 2am. This was the perfect place to come to after a long day of travels. Alison had the lights on for us and it was an easy trip from the airport in an Uber. The place is clean, welcoming, and comfortable. It’s very homey, which is amazing when you’re coming in after a long day. We would definitely come back here again!

Unfortunately, we only had one night at Alison’s. Her home is beautiful, comfortable and well-appointed. She is a gracious and accommodating hostess. Location is far enough away from Anchorage proper and very close to the scenic coastal drive and points south. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home.

This was perfect for our stay. Great amenities, well stocked with cooking supplies. The location was great for exploring all of nearby Alaska, specially going south towards Seward. Allison was an excellent host and was very flexible with a late checkout. We would 100% stay here again.

My stay was excellent,my accommodations were very clean, the area was close to what I needed for my stay. What I like the best is the bed was very comfortable. We stayed for a couple nights while we skied in Alteska, lots of great restaurants and good recommendations. Roughly 1/2 hour to Alyeska stop if you're skiing this is a good place to stay.

Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood but also close to the highway and south Anchorage shops. Super easy check-in and check-out. Very clean and an incredibly comfortable bed. Floor was a little squeaky upstairs, which caused me to wake up a couple times in the night but overall, a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again!

I got a job in Anchorage as a nurse but had to wait on a permanent place to be available from December thru February (two long months). During those months, I stayed at what I unofficially dubbed Aunt Alison's as much as I could ( based on her availability) for multiple stays. Her place was like staying over at a favorite aunt's house with the nick knacks and homey feeling. The place was always clean and she'd leave out candy and snacks. She thinks of everything as her attention to detail was immaculate. Some examples are having several kinds of pillows so no matter what kind of pillow you like there will be one for you, Dog bowls..for your small or large dog, and my husband's favorite candies she noticed were always gone by the end of our trip, would be filled by our return. We forgot some things and she would always save them for our eventual return. She helped us by storing tires we couldn't fit on the car ride home one trip. Quick to respond and happy to help she asks only for respect of her place which my family gladly gave in return. A few times I had to stay at a hotel when she was booked and boy could you tell a difference in the hotel's lack of hospitality and charm.We always would breathe easy returning to her place in a safer environment and neighborhood. Oh, and Sonic is nearby! My family will be forever grateful for her hospitality in our time of transition. This place is a gem!

Let me start off by saying it was a fabulous little spot. With a wonderful sunset view spot just across the road. Very clean with wonderful amenities. Easy close parking, easy entry and very safe feeling. The only minor complaint I have is the large dog barking. Being an animal lover myself, the dog's bark was resonating throughout. And quite distracting as was random. Thankfully, it did not go late into the evening, but you could hear everything in the house above and next to you.

Very easy to find, perfect spot to unwind from a stressful drive up from the Kenai Peninsula. Host was there to greet us and make sure we had everything we could possibly need. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect for a short stay for two and a dog. Fenced area is small but works well for potty breaks. Decorations for christmas were very cute and enjoyable.

Excellent location, well equipped for guests, large apartment. We’ve already booked our next stay. We highly recommend this VRBO. We’ve stayed in many that have been set up solely as a business and often not comfortable—-just a place to stay. This is so different as it’s a home away from home.

This unit is perfect. We had a later check in, everything was exactly as stated plus plus plus. Our bed was so comfortable there was adjustable features for my husband who is mildly disabled. The washroom OMG amazing walk in shower was HUGE, all the amenities you could ask for. We had asked for a few extras, Alison accommodated as she was able an all around great hostess. Thank you for making our first trip to Alaska a memorable one.
