Private second-floor cottage nestled between Lakeside and Marblehead, sleeps 6!

The apartment was comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the patio.

The home was very nice, but Expedia gave the impression it was within the gates of Lakeside, Ohio. We were expecting to park at the rental then walk everywhere. But we could not do that since the location was more distant for walking. Other than the location, the rental was very nice.

Great host! Incredibly well equipped unit! The host thought of everything and then some. Highly recommend!

Clean room. Lots of extra’s provided by the hosts from condiments in the fridge to health and beauty items in the bathroom. The hosts were always available to answer questions. Great location near everything.

Overall the Bird Nest 2 is a very comfortable place to stay. Very clean, owner very attentive.

The place was cute and conveniently located. It was nice to have all the extras even though we didn't use any of them - it was a thoughtful touch to have things available in case someone needed them. Host was very responsive.

The location was very close to restaurants, gas stations and lake. Small town with friendly people. Host was very accommodating

pros..comfy beds, lots of nice extras supplied (spices, mustard, mayo, etc.). homey feel.cons..right on main street and traffic starts at 5am! sofa was stained but maybe because end of season? we just covered it with a sheet.

Perfect for a weekend getaway with my wonderful fe and son

The place was clean, beds comfortable and fantastic pillows! The kitchen was well stocked and the bathroom had extra toothbrushes and other items often forgotten. We will definately come back! One suggestion, the steps could use grippers especially during the rainy season.

We absolutely loved our stay. It was so cozy, and everything you could imagine, was there. We didn't need a thing. The touch of flowers for our anniversary was a plus!!!

My son and I needed a place close to the lake to stay for the weekend to go on a fishing charter. This was a great location and a great place to stay. The house was in great condition and the price was a good price point.
