Private Secluded Ocean View & Pool Near Key West

Terrible experience! Booked house for group for wife's birthday - months in advance, only to have canceled at 2am the night before check-in! Would not return emails, phone calls or any other communication! Very sketchy! ALSO there are 2 identical bookings on VRBO for this house so be very careful and skeptical when booking here....

House was ok. There are a few minor things in disrepair so document thoroughly if you stay here. The beds were clean and comfortable. However, asked for sheets for the air matress and did not receive them. Asked for garbage bags with no delivery. Fire ants in one of the bedrooms. Bugs in sinks and kithen counter. Under the couch cushions was disgusting. Cobwebs on the light fixtures. Overall cleanliness is a 6 of 10.

Pool heater not working, said it had a hot tub it didn't . Toe nail clippings in one bed, food crumbs and socks under furniture cushions.

A wonderful time was had by all. Host was very responsive and we had no issues. Beautiful home and views!

Great house far enough away from Key West to be quiet and peaceful, and close enough to enjoy the nightlife!

Kazi was a joy to deal with. You can tell he cares about your stay. It's a beautiful home with nice pool area. Great location and short drive to Key West.

Thank you so much for the great stay! The ocean view was beautiful! The landscaping with surrounding trees and flowers was lovely! The house was comfortable and had everything that we needed. It was perfect for our family!

To start... the check-in paper work was 20 pages long, never had to sign so much just to check in to a place. Had the place book for mini lobster season. No where in the listing does it say you can't bring a boat on property, but in his rules he sent 6 days before check-in, he said no boats allowed.. ended allowing me to bring my boat, but with a 2,000 fee if I mess anything up. The pictures on the site and what the house looks like is so far off... pictures are 10 years old at least... No screened in back back porch, rust everywhere on the outside, weeds all in the rocks and concrete. Pool was dirty. Kitchen cabinets are falling apart, mold in the bathrooms showers... there was roaches, ants, spiders and bugs all over the place.. we couldn't even make dinner the first night without ants getting on the food. Dirty sheets with hair in the bed sheets, with no spare sheets to change out. We ended up leaving after the first night. I would be embarrassed to have anyone come stay at my house if it looked like this... no central-heating and air. Every room had window units and the living room unit wasn't working... I'm sure I'm missing something.. but if you read this much and still wanna stay here.. good luck.

The location was nice and having a pool was also good. The house needs to be cleaned more thoroughly.

Everything was exactly as described, the host was gracious and communicative, the house is great for a large group and a quiet location

The property is beautiful, however the house needs a lot of work. It’s old, outdated and dirty. The kitchen really needs an update. A simple paint job throughout would do wonders. The pool was nice but freezing and the hot tub is not a hot-tub. It’s just the same water from the pool. The views are stunning and the porch was our favorite spot. A beautiful place to eat breakfast and enjoy the view. Watch out for no see ems at night though. I came home with massive bites. The beds were comfortable.However the listing said there was a queen bed in the common area and there was not.

We stayed for my husband’s surprise 40th birthday weekend. Kazi was an amazing host and made the booking/arrival/departure process so easy. His hospitality was amazing and we can’t wait to come back.

We booked the house for 10 people based on the listing. There is no queen bed in the common area as advertised, only two sofas. There were only 4 bath towels provided when we arrived even though we booked the house for 10 people. We contacted the owner when we arrived to ask for more towels, but he did not respond until the next day. When he did respond, he was rude and unapologetic. We then contacted the property manager to ask for more towels and a queen bed and never heard back for the entire 7 days of our stay. The housekeeper came the second day to get us towels and she gave us a lovely air mattress in lieu of an actual queen bed that is advertised in the listing. The grounds were unkempt, the kitchen sink was disgusting, rusty vents, dirty door handles, just an overall icky feeling in the house. Two bathrooms had missing lightbulbs, paint peeling, bottle caps and cigarette butts from previous tenants (which we picked up); a very poorly maintained property.The neighbors told us the owner lives in an RV off of the driveway which was not communicated with us.

Nice property. We enjoyed our stay.

This house is beautiful, it’s an old Keys style home, nautical, clean, beautiful views, we spent most of our time in the pool. Great place to just get away and relax. Love that is was off the beaten path. The palm trees, coconuts and yard is beautiful. The owner answered us almost immediately for any needs or questions we had. Will definitely make this a yearly trip.

This place is great. Plenty of room. We loved it.

Location was great & property was lovely. We had a youth group & the kids enjoyed playing basketball & using the outdoor space. Felt like we stayed in someone’s home. The property owner was on property frequently & was very kind & welcoming. The house rules packet should have been sent before the cancellation window & was one of the most extensive I’ve ever encountered with a vacation rental. There were many security cameras on property, which made us uncomfortable given we had a few youth. I have no doubt they deal with all kinds of people, but it’s part of the gig when you offer your home as a vacation rental. The property manager needs some communication training as he was very short.

Check in process and punitive language in contract were turnoffs that got the vacation off on the wrong foot. Other than that the property was as advertised.

Beautiful property

The house was a lovely place to stay. The pool, was a phenomenal spot to hang out. The owner, was an extremely friendly, helpful gentleman. the location of the property couldn’t be any better in terms of local spots to see, and places to eat at plus being very close to downtown Key West.
