Amazing house in the heart of New River Gorge. This house has it all, and it's minutes from the next adventure.

We stayed here for a family vacation. Everything went seamless. Tom is VERY reasonable and responsive when there are questions. West Virginia is absolutely beautiful and if uou want to do a side by side tour we all highly recommend Appalation Outlaws SXS. Its about a 45 min trip from this property and the guide was great and all of the staff was amazing.

We had a great time and really enjoyed our time at this home. The hot tub, game room and firepit were all first rate! We would highly recommend this property!

Great location. Close to everything you'd need and want to do on the Gorge

Saddleback Retreat has so many positive amenities! We spent hours in the game room. The nightly hot tub and cozy fire pit were wonderful after a day of hiking. The bed and bathrooms were generally clean. The communication with the host was quick and responsive. However, the kitchen cleanliness was disappointing—we had to spend time cleaning the stove, oven, refrigerator, and surfaces, and didn’t feel comfortable using the cookware. We used our own. Walmart was close and we were able to get what we needed. Extra towels and blankets would have been appreciated. Extra cleaning/maintaining of the kitchen would go a long way to making this a perfect stay.

Check in and communication was quick and easy. Lovely home. Lots of fun activities for little ones to do. Beautiful setting. We saw two deer our first morning

We loved our stay. Wonderful location and the house was quiet, comfortable, and well maintained and stocked for our trip. Would highly recommend. The hosts responded to my messages within minutes and were very helpful with recommendations for the area, too.

Tom and family have been very accommodating and what a lovely home they have. We are excited to visit again. Highly recommend this host!! You will enjoy your stay!!

The Host answered all our questions.The house is older and could use some paint on the interior but it’s very secluded and private.The 5 bedrooms and the nice game room were a plus.

The home and host were very welcoming. Communicating with the owner was very easy. We loved the game room and the neighborhood was safe and very quiet.Beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful tranquil country house surrounded by fireflies, bats and deer. Well appointed. Excellent hot tub and fire pit.

Nice and secluded location that is within minutes of shopping and food. Game room, hot tub and firepit were awesome. Saw many deer on the property and one small black bear. Would definitely recommend.

Great place. The hosts provided a lot of items that aren’t typically available (from qtips to phone chargers. Tom and Haley promptly responded to any questions. House sets on top of a hill and has woods providing privacy

We spent a week at the Saddleback Ridge retreat for a family of 7 vacation full of hiking and whitewater rafting. The location was perfect. The hosts had amazing and instantaneous communication with all questions. The game room, fire pit and hot tub were keys to staying entertained and having fun when at the house. A great adventure and fantastic property!

Wonderful property with great amenities. Host was terrific including replacing a coffee maker the same day it broke down. Definitely rebooking when in the area again!

We had a great stay overall. We had a tree fall across the road during our stay right at the base of the drive and our hosts had a neighbor out with a chainsaw in less than 30 minutes- amazing!

Excellent stay. The location was great! We loved the game area downstairs and the well-stocked fireplace. The kitchen was well-stocked with enough dishes, pans, silverware, etc for our big group (10 people). It was so-nice to arrive with a fully stocked coffee area, keureg, condiments, etc. There was even a basket of chips in the kitchen!

House was packed with great activities and space for our family. Plenty to do and eat nearby.

Wonderful property with lots of activities! The location was great to explore New River Gorge NP and easy to get to. Our family had a blast staying here!

Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have downtime, and plenty of community space for everyone to come together to eat and hang out together. Gameroom was a big hit for everyone, from grandma to teenagers. Everything was super comfortable and when we had any questions, the hosts were incredibly responsive. Loved it!!

The house has plenty of space, loads of bedrooms. The game room is absolute fun, the teenagers with us loved it and the adults did too. The fire pit was very enjoyable in the evening. We did not use the hot tub, but it looked very inviting. Thank you gor sharing your home!

We had a great time staying at this Saddleback retreat! The house was as described. The beds were comfortable, the fire pit was great and the hot tub was roomy and clean. The house is halfway between some family members in Ohio and us in North Carolina. So it was a perfect location halfway.

Great house, lots of space for the whole family, activities for the kids, and close to all the NRG hikes.

We loved all this house had to offer: hot tub, games, nature, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and very close to the north end (and bridge) of the park. The basement bedroom area could have been cleaner, but would definitely come back!

My wife and I and two grown children and their significant others spent a long weekend at this fabulous spot. Remote but close to the National Park and Fayetteville. It had everything we wanted - a fire pit, hot tub, game room…. And the hosts were great communicators before, during and after the trip. Highly recommended!

It is in a great location near all the area's attractions and local restaurants. Our family especially enjoyed the game room.
