Many of our returning guests do not realize that Rowley's Bay Resort burned to the ground in September 2023. While we have no affiliation with RBR we were sad to see this happen. We hoping to see new owners in the near future.

Door County Adventures is still operating at the marina for rentals of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, as well as zip line and Segway tours and many excursions. Rowley’s Bay flows into the gentle Mink River, where you can spot minks, ducks, butterflies, dragonflies, and other wildlife. We are located at the end of a cul-de-sac. We have free internet access for guests. We have recommendations and brochures at the property upon your arrival. We are happy to make other suggestions or answer questions through email, messages, texts or phone calls. We want to make sure our guests have a wonderful stay. Please note majority homes are full time residence, and we are strict regarding our quiet hours!

It was a lovely home with plenty of room for our three generations. There were games and puzzles for the rainy days. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed, including a dishwasher which was great since we had breakfasts and some dinners there. The location is great and very quiet.

This cabin was so cute and cozy! It felt so much like a home. The fireplace was so nice to be able to use. It also came equipped with lots of baking and cooking utensils which came in handy! The location is perfect and in such a cute area while being close to all the surrounding towns. I loved staying here and would definitely recommend it to anyone! We also got to see lots of deer just right outside the home!

Beautiful home in the woods. Welcoming and all the comforts of home. Three of us there for a girls get away and had everything that we needed. The house is well organized and had anything you could possibly think you needed. Comfortable beds, extra pillows and towels. They even provided a bundle of firewood for our first fire if we so desired. We would happily stay again. Very clean as well.

This house was incredible for my husband and I, my three teenagers and my parents. We were in town for three days for a wedding. The kitchen is extremely well appointed and easy to make great meals. 10 minute walk to the pier for fishing, which my son really enjoyed! The back porch and view of the woods is really relaxing and a wonderful place for coffee or evening cocktails. The host is super responsive and pleasant!I have no complaints and we would absolutely stay here again!

This property was perfect for our family of eight; three adult couples and two teens. The home was very clean and tidy and had an exceptionally well stocked kitchen which we did use for several meals. The dining table was perfect for our family, as was the living room area. All of the bedrooms were good sized and comfortable with extra blankets and pillows. Communication with the owner was easy and he had an excellent response time. We were able to find all the information we needed for our stay when completing our booking, and checking into and out of the home was seamless. This location was perfect for the activities we had planned, and we drove less than 25 minutes (usually less) each day to get to our various destinations. I would highly recommend a stay at this home if you are planning a trip to Door County!

We were really happy with the experience. Pictures and text were entirely representative of the experience. We had to call the property manager due to a malfunctioning device that was likely the result of misuse by previous guests, and he called back within a few hours -- on the Sunday right after Thanksgiving. A truly excellent experience. Highly recommend!

The home is located off the beaten path which is exactly what we like! It’s steeped in nature, quiet, roomy, and has a lovely fireplace. We love coming in the fall making cozy fires. Kitchen is equipped for cooking in. Living area is comfy. The separate breeze way between the house and garage makes a nice second living space. It was a quiet place to read on a nice couch while the family was doing their thing in the living room. It’s a bit of a trip to shopping and restaurants. We plan that into our day, so it’s no big deal. Unfortunately, Grandmas Bakery is gone. Breakfast is different now, but we have wonderful memories. We enjoyed making new memories at this quiet and cozy destination.

The home was very comfortable. The temperature was zoned well throughout the home. The common areas accomodated us well. Plenty of places to enjoy each other's company. The kitchen area could have been cleaner. It would have helped to have a few supplies, to clean the area ourselves too. We enjoyed our stay and would book again!

Located in a quiet wooded area of Ellison Bay, this home provided all the comforts necessary for a great weekend. All of the amenities of Door County are located just a few miles away from the house. The house was very comfortable and provided all that was needed. The extra family room was a really nice early morning spot to enjoy coffee while looking out at the surrounding forested area. Definitely would stay here again.

Bathrooms were a bit dirty along with kitchen utensils. We needed to wash those before we could use them. The home was very cozy and welcoming. One thing you could mention in the post on VRBO is that charcoal is needed for grill.

We were pleasantly surprised with the rental. The property and house were very clean, appropriately decorated, and roomy as well as well having a well-equipped kitchen. The property was secluded and located in a quiet neighborhood very close the lake. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider renting this property next time we vacation in Door County.

Five adults and one six year old were a perfect fit for this lovely house close to wooded area with no neighbors in sight when on the back deck. The upstairs bedroom with the door allowed for the six year old to go to sleep and stay asleep while we played games at the table. Pretty good star gazing from the back deck. And well equipped kitchen.
