The Space:

My family and I had a wonderful week at Yellow Lotus. The home has a great layout and is close to the beach. The beds are very comfortable. It was a special treat to have a pool and hot tub in such a lovely quiet backyard.

This home was simply amazing! Beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds. My family loved the pool and hot tub. All the amenities you could ask for. The walk to the beach was very short and convenient. If you are traveling to Outer Banks, this is the home for you.

The Neighborhood:

Yellow Lotus is located in the Whalehead neighborhood in Corolla, NC. Just a short walk to the beach via the Sturgeon Beach Access! A short drive to nearby restaurants, shops, and Carova Beach which is the home of the OBX wild horses!



There are several grocery stores within minutes. Food Lion and Harris Teeter. There are local eateries in Corolla and in Duck. Most of the nicer ones will require a reservation - some on Open Table. There are many adventure activities and tours in the area and they fill up fast.

After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a North Carolina Vacation Rental Agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the house rules with all parties that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to everyone staying or visiting the property. If you are booking on Airbnb, you will receive a link to the rental agreement in the Airbnb app.



Guest Verification with Truvi

To protect our homes and enhance your peace of mind, Sojourn partners with Truvi, a third-party guest verification platform. You’ll receive a direct message from Truvi to complete your verification. Please complete this step before check-in. Visit Truvi’s website to learn more.



Trust & Safety Fee

Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.



Security Cameras

All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the home.



Property Access & Maintenance

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.



Pool Heat

Please note that pool heaters are intended to gently warm the water and take the chill off. They are not designed to heat the pool to a hot-tub or bath-water temperature. Heaters work best when temperatures are 55 degrees and above.
