Property managed by AvantStay, so professional. Surprised us that we could not enter when we arrived because the front gate lock needed to be replaced. Host very responsive & directed us on how to enter through garage. There are many (2 flight equivalent) steps down from garage to front door, making carrying heavy luggage a challenge, but this was disclosed before we made the reservation. House was clean but the furniture a bit dated. Strange configuration to downstairs 2 bedrooms, which adjoined & shared a bathroom. Master bedroom was on 3rd floor, so opted to stay downstairs even though view from 3rd was spectacular. Outside pool terrace is the best reason to stay here. Tangerine & grapefruit trees full of fruit! Hot tub up a flight of stairs to a separate deck with stunning views. Gas grill a bit old but works well. Kitchen was newly redone. House had a mildew smell when we first arrived. Pots & pans so old & corroded that not usable. Host promptly sent a new set of pots & pans within hours of our notifying them along with air fresheners. Very, very responsive. Drive up to house in Hollywood Hills is treacherous so be careful! Would stay again if the price we a bit better given all our hassles.

Excellent place to stay. Loved the back yard, quiet and peaceful. House was very clean and comfortable. I wish we had been made aware of the many stairs down to the house. My 96 year mom was one of the guests. She handled it like a champ but would have been nice to be prepared for that. Might consider replacing mattress in upstairs bedroom. Regardless we were very satisfied with our stay and would stay again!

The indoor area of the house was clean and well organized with plenty of room for my family to spread out, and my two teenage kids each had their own room which was nice.The pool could use a draining and repainting of the bottom of the pool (even after vacuuming the pool still looked dirty due to the unpainted concrete bottom, although the water was clean and clear. This was especially evident when comparing to the neighbors' much cleaner-looking pool with painted bottom.)The hot tub was a major factor is choosing this house. However, the hot tub was cold upon arrival and took over 24 hours to heat to usable temperature, and it seemed to have a mind of its own so far as which jets turned on/off. When the jets worked and once the tub was hot, it was awesome to sit and relax overlooking the Hollywood Hills.From the back deck you can see the Griffith Observatory in the distance. And if you stand at the corner of the hot tub deck, you can see the Hollywood sign. The orange and grapefruit grove in the back yard by the pool was an added bonus as they create a visually stunning oasis and act as a border from the downhill neighbors.We would definitely stay again, just be sure to allow time for the hot tub to heat up.

Pretty disappointing, to be honest. Hot tub was broken. Quality for cost is not great. Literally went and bought new toilet paper bc it was so bad and ran out of basic amenities (shampoo, conditioner, paper towels), and we were not being excessive in any way.

Beautiful location. We really enjoyed the view and outdoor space.

Location and stay were both great. Only complaint was that the backyard had minimal lighting for hanging out outside at night

House was clean and roomy. It’s a spirited drive up to the property, great quiet neighborhood, we loved the orange trees and the birds and the views. Well kept hot tub, lovely, refreshing cold pool. Nice tv and comfortable living areas.

Excellent host, very easy to communicate with. The view of the Hollywood Hills from the jacuzzi is memorable experience.My friends and I enjoyed our stay.

Our family of four had a great three night stay in the Hollywood hills. The property was exactly as listed. Clean. Three nice bedrooms. We were two adults and two teens. Great hot tub which we enjoyed ever night, complete with views of the stars. The owner describes everything beautifully, even down to how to park the car for better access to the house.if you are looking to enjoy LA and stay in the hills above the city, this is a great choice.
