I indicated our arrival & departure times on the documents that were sent by the management company months in advance. When I received a copy of the same document upon check in, the correct times that I indicated were noted. The day before check out I receive a text with 10am check out time. I reply with a reminder that our check out would be later & sent a screenshot of their document. I was then told the only way to secure a late check out would be to book another night. We went back & forth which went no where so I requested a phone call. In this 3 minute call the person told me it was a “glitch” in their system so they never saw the late check out time & the only way to check out late would be to pay for another night. You’d think that since they owned up to their glitch they would also take accountability to make it right, but to my surprise they instead doubled down & threatened to call the cops if we were not off the property by 10am! I’ve been in both the hospitality & property management business for decades and have never seen worse management of a situation. I don’t subscribe to the idea that the customer is always right, but reasonable accommodations should be made. They had no reason not accommodating us. Instead of having this peace of mind, the threat of the cops arriving to our house loomed around for the duration of our vacation. They also refused to heat the pool. Stay away from my vacation haven properties.“Namaste beaches, we’ll call the cops on you!”

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The house is located in a perfect spot; just a short walk to the beach and close to all Destin has to offer. The heated pool was just the right size for our family and we enjoyed the warm water reprieve from the March cold gulf. We walked along the beach and into the secluded Henderson park which gives you a taste of old Florida and its natural beauty. Close to Publix where we picked up essentials and an order of fresh shrimp (they seasoned and steamed for us, too). A day at the Gulfarium on Okaloosa island and a trip over to Fort Walton Beach to visit the Air Force Museum and check out all the cool planes! The house itself is well-stocked with everything we needed to cook and the beds were very comfortable. The wrap around porches were a great place to enjoy morning coffee and the corner cafe Camille’s also was an excellent spot to enjoy live music and grab coffee or other libations. Highly recommend the house for its comfort and location! We will definitely be back!!

Clean and beautiful house. Very comfy beds. Close walk to the beach but be aware much of the beach is reserved as private. We went during a slower time so plenty of space but I heard it is usually packed. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect amount of space for our family.

I have been coming to Destin for the past 12 years on family vacations, staying at different properties in the area. Unfortunately, this was the least desirable and most disappointing trip we have experienced. Our troubles began upon arrival. The keypad did not work with the provided code, and it took a lengthy call with the property management company to get a new code to access the property. Upon entering, we found the first floor extremely warm at 81 degrees. Assuming the AC had been off for some time, we set it to 75 degrees per instructions, hoping it would cool down eventually. While the second-floor AC worked well from the start, the first-floor remained warm all day. After reaching out to the property management company, they promptly apologized and escalated a service request. A repairman arrived during our family dinner, which was awkward as the furnace was right by the dining table. He quickly diagnosed the problem: a filthy air filter, which he said was one of the worst he'd seen in years. After replacing the filter, the temperature started to drop. How this went unnoticed by previous renters has me baffled. Additionally, we noticed multiple water stains on the kitchen ceiling, which were not visible in the property photos. This was off-putting and unappealing. The kitchen also lacked a true “pantry” and we had to store all snack items on the kitchen counters as there were very few cupboards that were not filled with items. The house has plenty of room. Perfect location to walk to the beach. All the amenities you could possibly need. We had a small issue with the pool that was never fixed while we were there but the property management was very professional and helpful and tried their best to have it fixed. We still enjoyed the pool every day. We will definitely be staying here again!

However, once we came upon this great location, read the reviews, and reached out to the owner we immediately knew we found the right spot for us. The communication was top notch, the home was clean and had great space for our entire family. The pool was warm and having the locked gate gave us piece of mind for our youngest. Great location to walk to the beach was added bonus. Will be back!

The overall stay was good, the location was great. The cleanliness was subpar. There was black dog hair on all the floors and in one of the bedrooms and on some of the furniture. The pool when we got there had a lot of leaves in it. But the communication was great when we needed something or had some questions.

My family loved this property! The pool area was very nice with great outdoor furniture. The house very clean and spacious for 6 of us. Great location!!
